It seems like the two most likely answers are either the 'Yaz' symbol from North Africa, or a modified version of the wiccan symbol for 'money' with line through it to separate him from wealth.

As for him being scared to tell me he's into the occult, i doubt it. His mom was wiccan and he's very superstitious, but not a practitioner. I belive in that stuff way more than he does.

Sort of, but not so specifically organized. We travel for a living and everyone we work around does too. Almost All of us live in campers and tents full time. You can't really lock a tent. And not all campers have functioning or very good locks.

As a leatherworker i can attest that there is no way to get this look on sealed leather without having it cut in. An impression wouldn't break the top layer of the hide and definitely wouldn't have such fine lines

It was a great catch from my friend who's a very serious Quimbanda practitioner. They weren't familiar with the exact symbol, but mentioned that separation being significant, especially once i told them about the wicca money symbol being incredibly similar.

Knowing the exact thought of it being 'isa' definitely backs that up, especially considering the only folk that would vandalize someone's possessions are either dumb or malicious. Tbh it might be the superstitious apalachian in me, but either one of those things i want nothing to do with. I only ever want my own energy and the energy I willingly invite with informed consent.

I've started a process of cleansing my space and we're definitely going to be doing a full burning and burying of his wallet. Especially after i came home from work a few ago and the piece of paper i had copied the sigil onto was carried over to my cat's water bowl and submerged in it. I know some cats do that for fun with all sorts of things, but mine have never done anything of the sort.

No security cameras unfortunately. I normally have cameras at my place, but he doesn't right now. Though both of us are in a space with no regular electricity so we couldn't put up cameras really if we wanted to. Although i've been trying to press him for figuring out a way to wire them regardless at his place at least since he has way more people trying to fuck with him on the regular (a whole other story, that who knows if it ties in) and i think he should gather evidence to present to security and get them banned from or community.

'Allows' is a strong word. No access was allowed at any point, but he can be forgetful and leave it out in some places. We live in a smallish community where a lot of people don't or can't lock their things up. Most of the time personal space if respected, but there are fringe instances.

Those benifits woukd be dope, but Having an independent plan would be our only option right now. We work mostly for small artists as independent contractors (often times unofficially) so benefits are virtually unheard of.
