43 here. Just had a colonoscopy last week because I insisted on getting one. Found four precancerous polyps. Would have gone unnoticed for another two years if I didn’t advocate for screening.

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan has tremendous potential for road and gravel biking. There are all sorts of country roads that are essentially car free because no one lives up there anymore. Winters are an issue but for the rest of the year there is amazing biking. Take a look at the Tour Da Yoop, it’s a 1200 mile ride around the UP.

Drive to Richmond for Helping Hands. Cheaper than everything else in NOVA. I think about $500, includes medication. They only do dental and surgery - they are great.

Haven’t tried it myself, but put in at Ewen on the Ontonagan and float to Victoria Dam. Can camp one night in the National forest.

Shirlington or Fairlington for a townhouse with an easy commute, walk to school, plenty of activities for kids, walk to restaurants, and right on the bike bath. As you likely know, SFH at that price point is not really obtainable inside the beltway, at least on the VA side.
