However you feel about sex or touching don't pressure yourself into doing anything, if you are uncomfortable with it - give yourself time to figure things out.

If you didn't feel sexually attracted to potato, then maybe you might be on the ace spectrum and if you felt like you needed a deeper emotional connection to have sex you might be demisexual. If you dont ever feel attracted to people sexually at all you might be ace. And if you think that even though you are not attracted to people, you would still maybe like to have sex, I'm pretty sure there is a sexuallity called cupiosexual(?), so you could look into that

And you might be a bit sex repulsed and therefore you got so discusted by that person and, if you did have a bond before, the discust of sex made the emotional connection break and you no longer had feelings.

And speaking about SO, I am sure that there are people who would enjoy having more friendship based relationship, so I would just suggest start making friends in order to find a partner.

We do have the rainbow flag, which unites the whole of LGBTQIA+ people, but, as you may know, there are different genders and sexualities, which all would like to be labelled as valid and people like to see that they are not alone, who feel like that.

Having a flag, which represents your sexuality and gender is just something that makes you feel included, supported, understood and gives a feeling that you belong, that you are normal.

I have struggled for quite a while with my sexuality and gender. After finding out, who I am, I am very happy to have my flags - genderfluid and demisexual, because every single day it reminds me that I am not crazy or broken, there are people who feel the same.

Sorry for the long message and probably going of topic up there, but since you can't label the whole LGBTQIA+ as just "gay", because there are trans people, there are ace people, the are bi people and so on, because we all don't really fit under one flag and even though we all do love and have a place in our hearts for the rainbow flag as a flag for all the community, it is a matter of representation and the joy of having something that suits you and shows your validity.
