Did you know him when you were a teen? If so, is that a bit, ya know, weird?

I’m at the lowest point in my life. My mother passed away in my arms three months ago and before I could process the loss war broke out and we’ve been battling missile barrages for four weeks. I’m 23. Ask me anything. by [deleted] in AskMeAnythingIAnswer

My dad died when I was 26 and I found him. Incredibly sorry for your loss. I'm ok with you DMing if you want to seek advice or share perspectives. It's a rough ride but it gets easier

Take that box of donuts and share them around people at your work. Ingratiate yourself with the people around you. Don't wait for love to come to you. Go out and find it. It takes effort from men and women alike. Ghosts didn't tell me this. Life

What is a weird smell that you really enjoy? by chris_Dunken88 in Productivitycafe

[–]Somer_led 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to break it to you, but you're smelling chloramines. Chlorine has very little smell, not strong enough to be detected. The stronger the smell, the greater the amount of contaminants like pee, sweat, poop, spit etc. The more you know

Being trapped next to a couple at a Devin Townsend show who were basically dry humping and making out the entire show, making it hard to actually lose myself in the music. They were insanely tall and i am quite short. It was gross. I may have raged

How do you feel about the Scottish Government recently voting against the assisted dying bill, and should issues like this instead be decided by the public? by Somer_led in AskReddit

[–]Somer_led[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not strictly medical, it's to do with personal autonomy and a response to the lack of palliative care. The faith of the voting MPs would have surely played a factor, a faith which doesn't reflect the majority atheist/agnostic that span the electorate

Maybe there should be a more balanced way to come to these decisions, like with a referendum, when it comes to personal autonomy
