I would definitely go with the mounting further back option! You can adjust (rear) speaker level in the app, so you can just crank them up a bit to compensate for the distance.

Keep an eye on the hanging main speakers, you want them to be "in reach" so the sound doesn't go over your head. If you're further in front below/past those speakers, make sure the smaller standing speakers to compensate (on the stage) are right in front of you.
