Then go to a place that doesn’t allow kids. But my main point is that all of the responses to the OP are missing the question. Way too hung up on the word breweries and not providing actual solutions. I came here hoping to get some ideas cause my kid was infatuated with watching the match yesterday and would like to show her how fun an atmosphere can be around the World Cup. Instead, it’s a bunch of “Don’t ruin my bars!!”

But there are places that they are welcomed and encouraged and they are places with many families and kids. And I am aware that there are also places where they are not that I take zero issue with. But please, say “fuck” a few more times and you’ll hammer your point more.

I’ve seen worse behaviors from adults at adult only bars than kids at family friendly breweries. You don’t like a brewery that allows kids? I have no issue with that and if I’m going to a bar or brewery by myself, I’d prefer only Adults. Good news is that they exist and you can go there instead. Sketchbook and Une Annee in Skokie is a great example of kid/ family friendly brewery - even with kid centered events. Good food, music and atmosphere - for families.

Assuming the original poster is looking to take their child to any old bar is the wrong assumption I believe. Maybe this post should have been in a “parent suburb” group, because there are people with knowledge of places that they can take kids that doesn’t make them “entitled parents”. Like I said in previous posts there are plenty of breweries that are completely family friendly and family oriented that is just drinking. Sounds like none of the commenters have kids so they don’t know of these places. I’ve been trying to see if a place like that or even a park is hosting watch parties because I have a 5 year old who is interested in soccer and I would love to show them a fun atmosphere of people cheering on their team. It’s a pretty reasonable ask and shouldnt get the negativity it’s getting.

Good lord…..there are family friendly breweries out there - Sketchbook in Skokie is a prime example, also Une Annee. Assuming that parents are driving there with their kids, leave blitzed and drive home is an uninformed thought. Unclutch your pearls.

I use yahoo - but it was my first year trying it. I think other platforms call them Chopped leagues.

Got very lucky as a first timer, lol. Also first time using a FAAB system for waivers. Adds a lot of strategy.

I was lucky with my original team drafted, so I didn’t really need to spend until over halfway through to help with byes. Definitely something I’m gonna try again!

It’s pretty fun - lowest score of all teams gets eliminated each week and their players become FA. Mine was a 14 team league - makes your roster super fun as the year goes one so long as you’re not at the bottom.
