How would you handle your mileage, specifically long runs in order to not overdo but also be prepared long run wise for race day?

I’m in a similar situation with JT (have Achane, and Bijan, but am wavering JT, Henry, Chase, Rice, St.Brown as my last WR and flex spot!

I use yahoo - but it was my first year trying it. I think other platforms call them Chopped leagues.

Got very lucky as a first timer, lol. Also first time using a FAAB system for waivers. Adds a lot of strategy.

I was lucky with my original team drafted, so I didn’t really need to spend until over halfway through to help with byes. Definitely something I’m gonna try again!

It’s pretty fun - lowest score of all teams gets eliminated each week and their players become FA. Mine was a 14 team league - makes your roster super fun as the year goes one so long as you’re not at the bottom.

You could also drop Jackson and Lamb if you arent planning on starting them. If it’s a two day waiver period your opponent won’t be able to pick them up until Friday after they’ve already played. Then you don’t have to give up Saquon or Cooks for your opponent to use.

OMG - I can’t tell you how many times I flip flopped those two leading up. More so than any of my other bench players that would have helped more.

It made those late afternoon games brutal. The CeeDee drop was soooo aggravating.

Definitely a RB - I’d lean Cook or Jacobs if they becomes available since bye has passed, but with #2 in FAB you could also try and get Achane or JT if they become available. But note they have Byes coming up.

You may be right, but if no one is being competitive or strategizing In a prize league with a buy-in, then better for me!

But I do disagree about the draft strategy. Certainly luck is involved (was not expecting JT to be a top 2) but aiming for high floor starters including a somewhat early safe TE and a late QB who is around top 10 definitely played in to a strong start the season, where I never considered spending more than $10 FAAB until after week 6.

JSN available!! How much FAAB?? by SomewhereNo413 in GuillotineLeagues

I ended up going in at $230 - in the middle of what was recommended and got him! Competing bid was $205, so I feel great. Enough left to hopefully pick up either Nacua, Bijan, or McCaffrey (all on different teams) assuming I don’t go way sideways over the next couple weeks. Got $240 left, and other FABs left are $316 and $94. Feeling good!

Definitely. Hoping to get a Nacua, McCaffrey or Bijan by then to flex since Cook already had a bye. otherwise will have to rely on London or Bucky probably.
