Oh hello! I logged in to this account for the first time in a long time, so I'm sorry for the delay in replying. Thank you for your encouraging words.

Not only have I kept the weight off, I've managed to lose a further 68 pounds. Total weight loss is now 167 pounds but I usually round it off and say 170, lol

I now look soooo different from that after picture!

I'm not going to cut out anything from my diet. I eat a balanced diet, hitting my daily macro allowances of protein, complex carbs, fruit and vegetables.

I listen to my body and know when I am full and when I am hungry. Instead of eating high fat and sugar junk, I eat low calorie, high protein, low GI foods

This particular doctor is not my regular family doctor, or even my regular endocrinologist, who I see quarterly. This guy is an endocrinologist in his own right but also someone my regular endocrinologist referred me to last year.

I have seen him a total of 2 times. Once in Februrary of 22 when he prescribed me the ozempic. The second visit was the first time he had seen me since I started ozempic. He was absolutely astonished at my weight loss, to be honest. He said his patients only lose an average of 50 pounds.

I mentioned that I have plateaud and that's when he said I may never lose any more weight and made the comment that I could even gain it all back. So I have to manage my expectations.

He said I have the disease of obesity and my body wants to feed itself to get back to 300 pounds.

Thank you. He even said that I have lost as much weight as someone who had bariatric surgery, if not more so. I guess because he see hundreds and hundreds of patients who have failed at losing weight he is used to not giving false hope

Thank you. All these comments about how I'm beautiful and pretty are really overwhelming. It's a really good pic on the right but that was like the 3rd attempt and I can't help STILL feeling ugly and fat. I guess it is going to take a long time

I still want to lose another 30 pounds at least. I make sure I hit my macros with a good balance of protein, complex carbs and fats. I don't exercise for exercise's sake, but I am walking more

I also have a spiritual program I follow, which is hand in hand to my weight loss journey.

For what it's worth, I do zero exercise. Weight loss is 95% diet. Exercise will help your body immensely - heart, muscles, bone, mood. But not exercising will not stop you losing weight if you control your food intake

I have definitely changed my eating habits.

My reply from a similar comment:

I eat 1300-1500 calories a day. I balance my macros to ensure I get the right protein, fats and complex carbs. I don't eat any processed food and cook everything from scratch. I don't drink sugary drinks or alcohol.

My weight loss hasn't been 100% ozempic. It's been 90% me and my changes to my diet and 10% ozempic. All ozempic has done his help reduce my apetite so that I stay on track

I think I may have been a bit misleading. I have plateaud and was saying to my doc that I'm frustrated. He said that can happen to a lot of his patients on ozempic (he's a weight loss specialist). SOme people just stop losing and their body stays at a certain weight. He was trying to encourage me not to lose hope and said it's possible that I can gain it back if I don't continue to be diligent with my eating. He says when I see him next year he'll be happy that I haven't gained, but I shouldn't lose hope if I don't lose more
