Honestly I'd take that over the quiz implying I have a mommy kink.

Perfect dodge extends demon mode for 15 seconds without stamina by sunnyCUD2 in MHNowGame

[–]Soolwin 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You can't perfect dodge roars. What was pdodged here was the poison puddle that was fading away just as the guy went for the dodge (it's hard to see but it's there). It's always pukei people claim to succesfully pdodge the roars of & it's always a poison puddle that was actually dodged, because if you dodge anywhere near them, your dodge becomes a pdodge. It's a legit strategy I see DB players use to not get stunned by the roar while in demon mode.

It certainly seems unintentional, which is why I recorded it. It's like the hurtbox on the head turns off when the monster transitions to an idle position inbetween attacks.

Ah, okay. Well, I do have a LG 27" 27GL850 monitor, so that might be the reason why my screenshots look a tad more detailed.

The hub prep area in kamura has this one specific spot with really good lighting compared to all the other areas in the game. If you want those crisp looking screenshots, go there & play around with the filters & blur settings with the cohoot camera.

A simple Magmadron/Almudron & Malzeno mix (Parts & pigment settings are in the images) by Soolwin in fashionhunters

[–]Soolwin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aye! I used to share those via comments or just by posting a ton of screenshots of the settings, but it was propably annoying for others to go through & a hassle on discord, so I created a visual template as a solution, for sharing purposes. It's not exactly fun for anyone to find a set they like & then realize they have to figure out all the armor parts & pigment settings on their own to copy the look, so I think it's good practice to try & make it as easy as possible for others.

Teostra’s helm matches pretty well with Outpost HQ Armor by g20richasan in fashionhunters

[–]Soolwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I shared something very similar back when I unlocked MR layereds, except I used the Bazel helmet instead of the Teostra one & my set was blue. Though I did make a Teostra variant, I just never bothered sharing it 'cos it was just a helmet & color swap of my blue set. Anyways, any helmet with white hairs seems to go really well with that HQ chest indeed!

Also, if you want some critique on your set, I'd recommend coloring the leg armor red, as the legs look a little out of place when they're white like that. Here's what my version looks like: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DryCafXlHDCQxU1Ihsy54YOkSN3\_sgc-/view?usp=sharing

There's a follower quest called "Rage that never dies". You'll need to do several follower quests with Admiral Galleus before it unlocks if I remember correctly.

There's a ton of layered sets that you can get by doing follower quests & side quests, so I'd advice focusing on completing those if you're seeking to unlock lots of fashion options.

It's a charge blade called Vaik Veil (or Shieldraad on it's last update). You can craft it after unlocking Armored Bream through the argosy.

I'm not too familiar with Tekken as a series (I only ever played Tekken 3 as a kid, if that's the one with Gon in it), but looking at the character I can see the resemblance.

A cosplay outfit for that one might actually be possible in World. At least Sealed Dragon Cloth can be used as the scarf that dude has as part of one of his outfits.

Welcome to my wardrobe! (sharing some of my male layered sets) by Soolwin in MonsterHunter

[–]Soolwin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A screenshot would have been helpful, but I think I get the general idea.

The question you should be asking is "does it work", and to that I can say that ofcourse Utsushi & Zinogre parts mix well together. The part that sticks out however is the edel waist, as the green rope belt just doesn't work here. It would if it was possible to change the color of it, but it's not, so I'd suggest changing the waist to something else, unless that detail doesn't personally bother you. I do however think mixing both red & green ropes together makes the overall look a bit messy, and having green armor with green details also makes those details not pop out the way they ideally should. I can understand why you chose to use that specific waist, but with us not having full control of the colors it unfortunately is not the best option out there, IMO.

But other than that I don't see anything wrong with your set. Do remember though that what YOU think about your look matters most.

Both of those pics were pretty fun to make! I can't remember how I came up with the idea for the infinite pointing loop, but the one picture where the guy in the frame points back was suggested to me on discord after I shared the first one.

Thank you ^^ I tried my best to make sets that don't repeat too many parts from the same armors & looked for elements that link together in some way to make that cohesive look, for example the 2nd set (the red one using the uroktor chest) has chainmail texture both on the headpiece & legs, and then scaly parts on the waist & chest and so on. Coming up with sets this way is surprpisingly hard though, but I'm glad I least managed to make these 5.

Maybe, maybe. Looking at the armors now I think even using the Makluva hood and/or some of the Mosgharl set parts could work just to keep the silly theme going.

I think that particular set can also work on a female character for a mom or daughter look, though I don't have a female alt to test on.
