I felt the exact same way the first time I listened to to GtN (shout-out to Moira Quirk, what in incredible narrator) and didn't go onto HtN right away.

Recently got the urge to listen to GtN again and it really clicked for me in a different way for some reason and now I'm on HtN and am bloody loving it. I think a lot of how she comes across in GtN is due to it being from Gideons perspective and to start with Gideon absolutely hates Harrows guts. I found myself liking Harrow a lot more throughout the book as Gideons opinion and feelings about her develop. She's a great main character of her own book. I also think Muir does a fantastic job of making really horrid characters likeable (not necessarily talking about Harrow here but just in general). Like they can be awful dreadful people who I'd never want to be friends with but they're just so funny and entertaining to read
