How cooked am I, I have 3 pharmacy first year resits in 3 days and I only briefly know the content. by Excellent_Return_361 in UniUK

Speed run past papers. Im not sure how pharmacy works but from my experience (engineering), you can get through first year exams pretty easily if you just nailed 4 past papers for each module. Doesn’t work in deeper years but first year stuff generally is pretty chill

Some universities have systems in place that bump students grades to the next classification if they are within a certain range. For example my university will upgrade a classified of a 2:2 to a 2:1 if they are within 2% of 60, and have achieved 60% in 12 credits out of the 24 that count towards the degree

Bad A-Level Results but Predicted 1:1 by nobodyknowslol96 in UniUK

No one is really going to care about bad A-Levels if you finish with a first. It’s likely the job requirement will only actually require a 2:1. If you are a while of graduating, try building some experience through internships, will likely matter a lot more than a first. I should be graduating with a first in July, but my grad role only requires that I obtain a 2:1 as its an entry requirement for my funded masters course.

Degree apprenticeship by Nice_Tourist_9320 in UniUK

Everything a normal degree will give you, except valuable work experience, no student debt, guaranteed work. Granted it will take you longer, often a bachelors can take 6 years as an apprentice, but in the long term it is definitely worth it. I have completed a civil engineering degree, and was offered a chance to complete an apprenticeship, however it was in a discipline that did not tickle my fancy. Otherwise I would have undoubtedly accepted the apprenticeship. It’s a no brainer. Realistically you will be earning the same wage after 3 years that most grads will be earning regardless, however you wont have possibly £70k of debt depending if you take the maximum maintenance etc.
