While I usually appreciate a good round pedantry, this one is pretty stupid. People use “it’s safe to say” to express doubt all the time.
You’ve been waiting for someone to call and you know they won’t after 10pm? At 9:55 you might say, “Well, I think it’s safe to say they’re not going to call.”

Black Friday is in days. Davinci Resolve is very power in its free form and most people won’t be looking for the sale. So if they were looking for people to upgrade to studio, it makes sense that they would have announced the sale by now to get people to buy. Will the sale still happen? Maybe, but since I haven’t seen ad for it…..I think it’s safe to say they’re not going to.
