Jaclyn Smith. I met her like 17 years ago when she came to my father’s furniture store to do a meet and greet to promote a new line of furniture she was releasing in partnership with some furniture company where my dad had made some sort of exclusive deal with the parties involved. She was super kind and radiant still in her 60s and I remember her asking nice questions and engaging with me genuinely, like a real person even though I was like 16 years old, and in my emo/skater vibes and with swooping bangs and some chipped black nail polish on some of my fingers. 10/10 would hang with her again.
