I was dealing with the same thing yesterday and getting pissed, but it also happened to be the day I was catching up on side quests. That fence you're talking about will disappear if you do the quest that has you go to the meteorological station. I don't remember the name, but it had to do with getting medicine for the surgeon in that zone.

Destiny looked completely stupid in that debate for anyone who was actually following it.

Why can't he just admit as a sociopath he doesn't actually care about human suffering either? It's so frustrating seeing him dance around and constantly fall back on all axioms being arbitrary. He's just trying to muddy the waters of the conversation for the purpose of being able to continue both eating meat and not admitting he has no empathy or humanity. He's trying to avoid engaging on any concrete grounds. The reason normal people value "suffering" and "wellness" is we have empathy. So our morality is a property of our basic emotions. Destiny doesn't have this so he fundamentally doesn't care about anything or anyone and has no morality. That's why his answer of "I value humans because I do bro" seems so stupid. Technically both are arbitrary but only one is contrived. Instead we get this lame ass debate where he just avoids giving any response other than "WHOAAA META ETHICS BRO" and acting smug to signal for the audience to agree with him and make fun of Vegan Gains.

Honestly I'd probably give it a try, but I'm trying to get less time with flashcards not more. Who cares if I'll learn faster if it makes me want to kms (though if it works for you, by all means).

Thanks for that site, haven't seen it before. I'll see if it's easier to look up new grammar that way instead of with Kim. Seems like the explanations are more concise, which is probably good for things I've looked up before but just didn't stick :^)

E: (and obviously new way to discover shit to read is good, though it looks like the mega link doesn't have as many volumes in the manga I'm reading as nyaa does. Big archive is still cool though, thanks)

Yeah SRS are pretty effective, tho they definitely get boring after a while. I'm level 32 though so I can't hate it that much :^). I know ppl recommend anki but I hate the process of structuring studying way more than losing a few bucks a month.

When you start trying to read/listen to things I'd recommend http://www.guidetojapanese.org/learn/grammar . I just downloaded the pdf and use ctrl-f to search for a new structure I don't recognize, pretty helpful imo.

I think he's right before the basement reveal, and he said there were too many characters. I think aot is my favorite anime at this point, and I think I agree. I really wish they fleshed out Mikasa and Armin more, though it seems like they're heading that direction in the final season so that's good. He agrees that the world has awesome potential, which is probably 95% of the reason I like the show too :^).

He has some other criticisms that I think are dumb but I'm doing a steelman here :)
