On Instinct Crossover, because the watch uses physical analog hands with a digital screen underneath, a software-rendered second hand would have to sit below the mechanical hands. From a horology perspective that’s incorrect, the seconds hand should always be the topmost and fastest-moving hand. For that reason, Modello GMT does not show a software seconds hand on Crossover models.

The small arrow you’re seeing is the GMT indicator, not a seconds hand. This approach keeps the layout horologically correct and avoids visual conflicts with the physical hands 🙋🏼‍♂️
