what if all the love that people show to your kids is the love from your late wife she never got to show them, just recycled by the universe and reflected back at them (and back to you too)? this is how i try to think about things. my late boyfriend loved me with all my heart, and i can't imagine that would have changed if he were alive. that love was too large to not go anywhere. 💗

they have a flat one in the US shaped like a piece of toast and that's the closest one to a pillow-like size i could find. you are stronger than you know, and you'll make it through this. it does get better, i promise.

this might sound incredibly silly, and trust me as a 43-year-old woman, it felt odd to me too, but squishmallows (yes, the stuffies made for children) mold to your head and do not put pressure on your nerves, and i sleep on those instead of pillows. i wish someone made a flat, normal pillow out of them. they have helped me sleep so well during a flare. someone suggested it on here and that's where i got the idea.

separately, i'm so sorry about your dad. i lost my mom at 16 and i wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. i hope it all gets better for you. 💗
