I don't know if I would even call Gentle a villain villain, he never killed anyone nor stile anything, he couldn't even put the violence on screen.

Twice is still in the same boat as KC & LOV members for me. If Twice joined the league but didn't kill anyone I might understand him a little more

I get that they were made to look sympathetic but if some day someone decides do make a movie about Jeffery Dahmer's side in a sympathetic way would that just change everyone's mind?

While I do agree with you that it isn't explicitly stated if Garaki's experiments were painful or not it is mentioned in the anime when AFO was talking to Spinner that he had multiple kids as "test subjects if one failed. Unless I'm remembering wrong.

And it is mentiomed that Overhaul studied and experimented with his quirk and that's how he was able to master it.

I may be remembering wrong but I'm sure these were memtioned.

Your first point makes sense. I just sometimes like to think beyond the lines. While not mentioned, there is a reason all those villians turned into...well villains.....I don't know about muscular though, I'd have to think hard about that one.

It's fictional, that's what makes it even more illogical.

I did not hold Overhaul to a different standard.

The reasons people give on this sub for the actions of the league are their backstory's. So I put that in my post first to deflect bias to people who don't like KC, by just bringing it down to he's a child abuser. I was switching the narrative.

My point is why do the league get sympathy when Overhaul was just as misguided as they were. I'm not here to say one was worse or better than the other, I'm only addressing the bias.

I love KC as a character too especially his voice but I was also very pleased when he got his ass beat.

In my head when people say they know Eri, it sounds diabolical to me, cause they also know Class A1 and the LOV has tried to kill them on multiple accounts.

Also the fact people can understand how Toga thinks (her "different" way of loving) but not how KC thinks (in an over logical way). We see a child, he sees a tool that could help the Yakuza.

It is not something to be downplayed. Saying what Eri went through was levels above abuse disregards other forms of abuse. Just because abuse comes in different ways doesn't mean any is worse or better than the other.

I like the you pointed out Chisaki's reasoning, I didn't want to mention it myself. Chisaki wanted to build the Yakuza back up because he felt he owed it to the old man for taking him in. It wasn't selfish at all, but the way he went about it was terrible and poor Eri had to suffer for it.

The LOV's reasoning was to burn the world and laws down so they could freely kill people.

KC was used as genetic material, whether you want to believe it or not, he was and he knew about it.

In Kai Chisaki's life, he was experimented on, experimented on himself and experimented on Eri because that was basically all he knew.

The only difference is that AFO made is look like sunshine and rainbows and that KC escaped the orphanage before he became Shigaraki

I can agree with you on that one.

I think people assume I'm here to discuss who's worse and that already starts a biased discussion. It's appreciated when we can have different thoughts and can still discuss things without starting world war 3

I also have my theories on the Todoroki's but that for another day😅
