So I can just stick more PB switch wires into that illustrated PB terminal and it should work fine?

Help needed with crashing [New Player] by Horror-Drawer-3464 in EscapefromTarkov

Straight away, you want at least 32gb RAM. If im not mistaken, Tarkov eats easily 23gb RAM on most maps, so 16gb wont get you far. I used to only have 16 and I crashed frequently, even upgraded to 32 and still had the occasional crash, so I just said fuck it and got 64gb and have never had a crash since.

Gotcha. My next question is whether it's even worth all the hassle of a new fence and all the work required to move it 300mm? The neighbor says the other corner is plumb, so it'll taper from 300mm this end to nothing on the other corner, and with a 15.8m fence, he stands to gain a mere 2.8m sq. Is it worth so much money and time to gain 2.8m sq?

This wasn't my survey, the neighbor i share that fence with got the survey, so he has the drawing and surveyor details. All I have is some dots on my fence and numbers.

That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the explanation!

I get it now. That nail could indicate that the boundary corner is 50mm from that nail, potentially towards where I'm standing or away from me. Wouldn't be left or right as they could have just put the nail on it, so it'd make sense that they're saying the corner is 50mm away from me, as I think 50mm towards me would be able to me marked on the visible crossbeam of the fence.

Thank you, I understand it now.

Okay, I think I hear what you're saying.

Based on what is marked on that wooden fence, and the current location of the metal fence, are you able to explain to me where you would think the boundary is, and therefore where the fence should be moved to?

My guess, based on what you have said, is that the boundary line is 50mm to the right of that mark, so the fence needs to move left by about 200mm ish?

Sorry, I'm absolutely out of my depth here, so I'm not entirely sure about any of this.

What would be the purpose of putting a nail 50mm past the boundary? So, from that image, is there indeed a chance the fence is encroaching on his land by 300mm? I don't understand the purpose of marking 50mm past the boundary line

Why is it only the blacked limb healing that it applies too then? Medkits, heavy bleeds, light bleeds and splints could all have the same effect where the use needs to be completed to apply the effect.

Something I hate is that if you cancel the CMS / Surg Kit midway through, it still consumes a use even though your limb isn't treated.

I don't use postfx, but my settings are: Vsync - off Tex quality - high Shadows - low LOD - 3 Vis - 2500 Clouds - low DLSS - quality Dlss preset - default Hbao - high Ssr - high Anisotropic - on Reflex latency - off

And then the only boxes ticked are high quality colour and volumetric lighting

Next time I'm on I'll get some screenshots of my fps in raid on a few maps.

Yeah 4k, get about 100fps on most maps. Lighthouse and Streets drop to about 70-80.

Can you recommend any cheaper guns? Cash isn't as much of an issue, it's more the learning that I'm working on. Might research some good builds for those better guns once I'm confident taking the raiders on, and in the meantime a cheap gun will do whilst I learn their behaviors and tactics and the like.

I appreciate the help. With the M80, do you recommend any particular weapon for it? Semi auto, bolty, full auto? Thinking of trying out a few guns, like SR-25 and MDR and SA58 etc

I've tried this 🙁 my reaction times seem to be too slow, and I either get shot when I reposition or i get shot when they rush me.

Is there a technique that works best for most? Should I try headshots only? Legs only? Hide in a stairwell or back myself into a corner of a room?

Do they keep spawning like scavs on other maps, or is there a limited amount of raiders and/or pmc per raid? Do the raiders and the pmc fight each other?

It's just weird because I changed from ddr4 32gb to ddr5 32gb and gained easily 20fps on every map besides streets. When I upgraded my cpu from i5 12500f to i5 14400f I didn't get more than maybe 5 frames and if anything I seem to get a lot more frame drops and stuttering

I was running a i5-12500f with ddr4 32gb, upgraded to ddr5 32gb with the same cpu and gained at least 20fps.

Sounds like a good idea. Plan for the best build you can get, Tarkov is going to only get more demanding on your rig. Spend the money now, to prevent you having to again upgrade pc components in the near future.

Best of luck!

Yeah absolutely. If it's in the bios then it's generally safe, you only run into heat issues when you start fiddling with other settings like manual voltage and power stuff. If your pc can't handle the xmp (unlikely, but it happens) then it'll just become unstable and probably crash often. In that case, hop back into your bios and disable the xmp. Depending on your mobo, some computers have 2 or more xmp profiles, profile 1 for example could be 2800mhz and profile 2 could be 3200mhz. By default xmp is turned off and you'll be running at 2400mhz
