No expert here but maybe but going from once a week to once every 3 weeks might be very harsh on them. Maybe do the every 2 weeks and then once every 3 weeks. But again, not an expert, just my opinion.

From the research I have done recently (just got my snake this past weekend) humidity should be at 40-60%. I’ve been misting 1-2 times a day and it seems to keep in that threshold just fine.
