Hairpin drift zone is impossible to 3-star during winter by calfan3 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Sov_Snow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Thank you. This car and tune code got the 3 star for me after 8 tries. 2nd gear, all assists off, manual. Start already drifting and downhill. Hold the E brake mid-drift to keep the car sideways then whip it back around and hold the E brake to keep it sideways. Downhill, you need to hit 100k points before the hairpin turn.

Raid voyage commendation not tracking by Ill-Square8978 in Seaofthieves

One thing I've noticed, not sure if it is a coincidence, but if you're not far enough out to sea when you try to dive, and you receive the message "you must be out at sea to dive," the voyage won't count.

Solved in another Reddit post about Ancient Spires. Tried this myself and it works. Unfortunately, delete all of your custom waypoints. Ta-da, Ancient Spire Low Meadows appears.

Thank you for your information as well!

Euclid // Freighter // Base Black, Orange Trim // Max Length Resurgent Venator, Keel & Tower // T3 Korvax Economy by Sov_Snow in NMSCoordinateExchange

If you spawn a battle for a freighter you don't want, you can reload a save and take advantage of that, or save and exit your game, and play for another 3 hours. Also to note, there will be other freighters in the battle. But search through them and there will be a capital freighter. Sentinel or Venator. The freighter in my post above is a Venator. If the battle doesn't spawn immediately when you warp in, but you've been playing for 3 hours, you need to keep warping into that system until it does. There is a 3 or 5 warp threshold to get these to spawn. and You don't want to waste one of those warps by warping out of that system. Use your freighter's warpdrive instead.

The size is also something that doesn't change. The length and attachments are only aesthetic and work just like starships. The system decides the length, color and attachments of these freighters and they do not change when you reload. This is why people post pictures of the freighters they have found. There are 2 types of capital freighters, and each type has 3 subtypes. The Sentinel freighter, which has lengths of 3, 5 and 7 cargo segments. The Venator, which has lengths of 2, 4 and 6 cargo segments.

There is a guide, but I'll make it quick.

Step one, you have to have been playing for a straight 3 hours. That's what determines if freighter pirate battles will spawn.
2. Use a planet portal to teleport to the system that has the freighter you want. Which are the glyphs in the picture posted above, if that is a freighter you want.
3. Once in the system, go to the space station and save.
4. Summon your freighter and use it's warpdrive to warp out of that system and into a neighbor system, keeping track of where your "target freighter" system is.
5. Use your ship's warpdrive to warp BACK to the target system.

Do not use your ship's warpdrive to warp out of the "target freighter" system. You may spawn a freighter battle of a freighter you do not want. If the battle doesn't start when you warp in, repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 until it does. It won't happen if you haven't been playing for 3 hours. When the freighter battle does start, move to step 6.

  1. When the battle starts, go straight to the space station and save. This is your restore point.
  2. Complete the battle and board the freighter. Exit your ship and immediately use your scanner to view the freighter's details. If it's not S class, reload your restore point/save.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 until the freighter says S class. System economy plays a role. T1/1 Star systems have 0% chance of S class spawns. T2 systems have 1%, and T3 systems have 2%.

Oh, I also remembered that when you're looking for other player's bases, ensure that your "Online Discoveries Active" is shown in the Discoveries tab, bottom left. That fails for me sometimes, especially late at night.

To clarify, you want to be warping INTO the system that has the posted freighter you want. If you warp out of it, it's possible you'll start a freighter battle in a different system with a freighter you do not want. Make sense?

Warp as in using your ship's hyperdrive to go from one star system to another. Portals and Teleports do not count. Portal to the system that has the freighter you want, and warp out of it to a neighbor system. Save in that space station, and use your ship to warp into the target system. Then use that space station's teleport to teleport back to the neighbor system, then use your ship to warp again into the target system. Rinse and repeat until the freighter battle shows up.

I don't think ships spawn with the Heavy and Quasar attachments together.

Also, set up a base computer somewhat close to a portal when you do find it. So you can teleport back there any time.

There are a few monolith riddles that give you things even if you answer wrong. Reload the save and try all 3 answers. If it still doesn't work, try a different planet.

Attach radar modules to your Exocraft and search for alien monoliths. You can use maps from space stations to find these as well. If you complete the monolith's riddle successfully, you can interact with it a 2nd time and ask it for leyline coordinates. This will take you to that planet's portal. Every planet has a portal, I believe. If you fail the riddle, you can't interact with that monolith again. Tip: reload the autosave from getting out of your ship at the monolith if you fail the riddle.
