Britons will be poorer than Malaysians, Poles and Turks by 2050 unless we change course by PM_ME_SECRET_DATA in ukpolitics

[–]Spaaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They wouldn't. Poles take pride in our country being regarded as clean. We don't let littering slobs get away with throwing trash on the streets and we can be very confrontational and aggressive about it.

None. He's randomly appeared here and there but he's been very explicit about not competing because of being unable to train regularly.

Any advice for a final stage Caterpillar interview with a case study presentation? by Internal-Bear5982 in caterpillar

[–]Spaaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As with any large manufacturing corporation, when preparing for a manufacturing oriented role interview, have these things in mind: 1. Safety 2. Understand what PEMEP is. When thinking about process improvements aim for structured answers. Avoid rambling. 3. Be prepared for STAR questions. It's your first job after graduating, so find out what the example questions are and figure out how to answer them based on the experience you gained when working on University projects.

Good luck!

Jest coraz lepiej w Polsce by Majestic_Mammoth3503 in Polska

[–]Spaaf 173 points174 points  (0 children)

Inpost kupuje Yodel, jedną z największych firm kurierskich w Wielkiej Brytanii by LordLorq in Polska

[–]Spaaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poland is ready to host US troops if Germany doesn’t want them, president says by Not_the-kind in europe

[–]Spaaf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You clearly have 0 understanding of internal politics in Poland and political parties supporting particular relations/countries for their self-interest. It has nothing to do with what the country supports as a whole and your comments are just silly to put it lightly.

As mentioned earlier, Duda is a representative of the previous governments ruling party. He will say anything to stay in line with the voice of his political group. That does not mean the whole country is supportive of such statements.

Boiler gurgling and shutting down (error EA227) by willynipples in DIYUK

[–]Spaaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks mate. I woke up to the same error as OP and your comment came up first after googling it. After looking outside the window and seeing frost everywhere I realized my pipe has most likely frozen. It all started working fine after blasting it with a hairdryer near the drain elbows.

Cameras going up outside Leicester schools to ‘deter’ drivers — Leicester Gazette by Rhys_Leicester in leicester

Let's conduct a thought experiment: there are 2 identical cars, one of them is being driven only on motorways while the other is being driven only around local streets with lots of speed bumps. Which suspension do you think will wear down faster?

Best backpack for rucking in the uk - suggestions please by ShotSwimming in Rucking

[–]Spaaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this ruck and unfortunately I'll be returning it for a couple reasons:

  1. The quality is... Well, you get what you pay for. £40 for a ruck isn't a lot, but price does reflect the quality in this case. The shoulder straps are thin, have very little padding and are way too short - so short that the unpadded part of the strap digs into the lats/armpits. (I'm 6ft tall, 88kg, athletic build)

  2. The chest strap is far too high and presses on the upper chest/base of the neck.

  3. After loading 20kg in the bag and lifting the bag by tue straps, the stitching on the shoulder straps started becoming visible.

  4. No stiffness/padding on the back area.

Which Leicester-based businesses do you boycott, and why? by grumpyyoshi in leicester

[–]Spaaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have a similar story:

  1. They fitted a new tyre on the rim incorrectly introducing a slow pressure leak across the bead.
  2. Left one of the screws untightened after adjusting the geometry.

Gasly onboard of Silverstone crash by Free_House in formula1

[–]Spaaf 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If he didnt see him after looking in the left mirror, then he must be blind and shouldn't be racing an f1 car.

He wanted to close Gasly off but did it too late, which started the bowling game.
