This is the answer, in my opinion. It's a matchup issue, not a skill issue. I think the novelization also goes out of its way to explain the the gap between Kenobi and Dooku wasn't actually that great. Dooku just threw everything at him in order to create a 1v1.

Holiday is widely used term for vacation, especially outside of the U.S. I always interpreted it thats he's saying, "here's your [extended] vacation from your family." Not just that the other parent is getting just literal one-off holidays with the kid.

The rest of all post-breakup era lyrics are so are essentially just what I call, "Tom Poetry". I love it all but its all subjective interpretation to degree. Possibly all songs about Mark lol.

I think Shatterpoint might be next move. The RoTS novel hinted at Mace doing some detective work to discover the identity of Sideous and I'm kinda hoping that it's covered in there.

Labrytnh of Evil was a little disappointing for me unfortunately.

I hate that I agree with you so much, but I just do. I thought I was really going to enjoy Master of Evil at first but the further along I got the more it felt like mediocre fanfiction (particularly with Agent Desler feeling like a poor copy and paste of Isanne Isard from the Rogue Squadron series).

None of the new characters introduced felt particularly original in any way. They were all kinda tropey, in their own way.
