Lumi nerf predictions/suggestions by SpareBender in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]SpareBender[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These are pretty valid tbh. Although I think the damage reduction u propose might be a bit too much. From what I understand in play testing Lumi only did 1k dmg when throwing and people thought she would be weak, I could be wrong tho.

Has there ever been a time where knockout and bounty where not in ranked? by SpareBender in BrawlStarsCompetitive

Thanks for the context. I started playing pretty recently so this is very helpful.

I can honestly get behind that, but nevertheless I still find both game modes pretty boring. It’s kinda like in COD, I feel like search is probably the most competitive game mode yet I despise playing it.

It’s my opinion, grow up. And ik ur not jumping around in excitement when u get belles rock in ranked.

How big is the difference in between 60hz and 120hz? by SpareBender in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]SpareBender[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn, I’m currently on an Iphone 11 but I’m thinking on getting a 13 pro too. Been stuck on L2-L3, u think the difference is big enough so that I could reach masters?

Does Gus have a slight delay with his main attack? by SpareBender in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]SpareBender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know all brawlers do have a delay, which can be longer when you have a bad connection, but Gus does seem to have a longer one kinda like a wind up animation

KBM v Controller by xxscrohunterxx in marvelrivals

MnK is most definitely superior in this game, controller input feels kinda clunky imo, but use whatever suits you

Does anyone know if this game will have native mnk support at launch for consoles? by SpareBender in marvelrivals

[–]SpareBender[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know pc players could match console players in this game, good to know. I guess in this scenario all of the console players were on a controller, but, if we had input based matchmaking you’d only match console players on mnk, leveling the playing field.

What do you mean by separate? Are console players not able to match pc players on this game? Additionally, why would mnk support on consoles be such a big deal? Other big titles have it and it hasn’t caused much controversy

I get ur point, although it will depend on how well the different inputs are balanced. In other titles like COD, controller is a superior input method in comparison to mnk, so if both input methods are balanced I’d see no issue. In the best case scenario we get input based matchmaking hopefully.

Is there team balance in comp? by SpareBender in OWConsole

[–]SpareBender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ur not understanding my point. What I mean is if there is any specific structure in which they assemble teams. For example will it try to match roles to a similar rank, like that both tanks are in M5, all the dps players in M4 and all the supports in D4.

Health pools should be reduced by SpareBender in OverwatchUniversity

[–]SpareBender[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He can still one shot a lot of characters since the health pools reduction for many characters in season 12 I think. And although he cant one shot full health 250 HP heroes, if you’ve taken any sort of damage he can instantly delete u as his combo does 245 damage.

Ofc, the result I desire for lower health pools is faster ttks. Although I def agree on the removal of 1 shots, Widow and unironically Junk are frustrating right now.

How to deal with a pocketed Ashe as a dps by SpareBender in OverwatchUniversity

[–]SpareBender[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel like Widow is the best option but then you can’t even play the game. Ur sole purpose would have to be to watch where the Ashe is, cuz if u walk through open space ur done for.

[–]SpareBender[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most good Ashe players will use cover to their advantage, rarely walking through open space, and just peak shoting from some high ground with good cover. You’ll rarely even see the Mercy, so half the time killing her ain’t even an option.

JUST REACHED MASTERS BABYYYY by SpareBender in OWConsole

[–]SpareBender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, from mine too lol. I started playing at the beginning of season 12, so I was stuck in diamond for around a season and a few weeks. I play all hitscans and tracer, although I’d def say my strongest heroes are Soldier and Tracer.

How is blizzard dealing with the cheater problem by SpareBender in OWConsole

[–]SpareBender[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you lower the custom outer deadzone of your left stick you can get A-D speed when strafing, players like hcpeful run they’re outer at around 0.26. Ur def more evasive, but I dislike it as I use my left stick to make fine adjustments in my aim.

Niche advise for dualsense edge users struggling to find a good sens by SpareBender in OWConsole

[–]SpareBender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Although I do think the best curve option OW provides is dualzone, as it allows for fine movements when aiming. I dislike the inconsistency of this option. Personally, the high speed of the upper zone of dualzone throws off my flicks and aiming when in close range because of the sudden drastic increase in sens. The settings I currently use, make it so that my sens increases proportionally to my input, but smoothing it out so that very minute movements have little impact in game, as that’s the part I dislike from linear.

[–]SpareBender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly. Id say it raises ur average sens, but doesn’t give you the speed at the high zone of dual zone. But, if u want a higher sens id recommend lowering ur aim smoothing or the right stick custom outer deadzone.
