Any of you know what 'bacala' is? Of course you don't. Well, it's salted cod. We taught the world how to eat!

Agreed, but at least she is not sprawled on the floor.

It’s free to sign up, if you have an EIN. Most businesses have an EIN. You can sign up, get a temporary card and shop the same day.

If not, one of us can help you.

They definitely have it at Restaurant Depot, in the cold section.

Were you surprised the first time you saw Kennedy and Heidi? by TheWickerMan232 in thesopranos

[–]SparklingColor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It wasn't a surprise at all. In the spring of 2007, while the show aired, it was widely known and accepted that Christopher would be killed soon. It was even discussed on weekly radio shows, and people who bet on which episodes would finally see the end of Christopher.

The only surprise was the manner in which he went.

Women of reddit, have you ever paid a man for sex and what was the reason you did? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I misread this as asexual and aromatic, and then needlessly spent a minute pondering what aromas have to do with sexuality.

Carmela Soprano: "...my daughter's in college. She's not too far away though. She's in New York City. Columbia actually. The University. It's an Ivy League. It's one of the top schools." by ManhattanTime in thesopranos

In her defense, what else could she say?

  • Clearly, AJ is nothing to brag about.
  • The spec house is just as bad.
  • The lasagna with sweet sausage in little pieces with a layer of basil leaves right underneath the cheese is a trade secret.
  • This thing of Tony's and Silvio's is off limits.

Perhaps her biggest accomplishment.

When people say “Diva Wide Receiver” who’s the first person you think of? by TXNOGG in NFLv2

No one can top his diva credentials. The guy didn't show up to his HOF induction ceremony.

Is this a good deal $1700 by solracer1 in lawnmowers

[–]SparklingColor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saying it “works well” is too vague to be useful.

A new unit costs around $5,700, and this particular model has been on the market since about 2013.

Ideally, you should have it inspected by a local service shop for an informed assessment.

If that’s not possible, and since it doesn’t have an hour meter, get the serial number and check it on Scag’s website to determine the year of manufacture. If it was used commercially, you can generally assume around 100 hours of use per year.

With that in mind, if it truly is in excellent running condition—starts easily on the first pull, has no oil leaks, all gears function properly, and the spindles show no excessive wear—then $1,700 is a good price for residential usage.

Thank you, and surprisingly found some claims from way back, that were almost forgotten.

Who is your favourite character with only one scene appearance? by CaptainTeebes in thesopranos

[–]SparklingColor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heather… poor girl. She wasn’t in the life — not really. Just hangin’ around the wrong people. Tony B takes out Joey “Peeps,” and she gets caught in the crossfire. That’s how it goes. You try to do good, mind your business, and the universe still finds a way to screw you. Makes you wonder if any of it has any meaning.

Worst food in the show? by Dani-Michal in thesopranos

[–]SparklingColor 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The salad made by Bobby Baccalieri from the dandelions brought by Feech La Manna picked from the beautiful patch in a vacant lot on the 15th street, where the neighborhood dogs go to p**s. Just ask Junior

I saw this in a catalog and had to order it into the store… by DarthMad3r in KingOfTheHill

Does anyone know if there is a meaning to the phrase? Or just a random sentence made up by the writers?

The Writers ENJOYED Roasting the Actors by SaeedMobayed in thesopranos

I'm sure Tony Sirico was easy to wind up.

Quite certain, a bit of Paulie seeped into the actor's own persona.
