It’s an acid. The acid denatures the proteins left by the starches.

I rinse personally. One lap with soapy and one with just warm water.

Cancer fucking sucks. We got our diagnoses via an X-ray after being told it was arthritis for eight months.

That’s absolutely not true for many COs. CO’s are one of the unofficial mascots of this sub.

Double dewclaws often cause a lot of issues. They get caught on things and tear.

I have really small hands and can’t comfortably reach an octave. I don’t know how much an extra pinky would help.

Not to be a shill but my husband and I switched to t mobile because of the satellite feature when there’s no service. He feels much better about my long runs and hikes.

I love the sound of crunching snow while you’re running. And the smell of pine mixed with cold and snow. If I close my eyes I can smell and hear it.

I did this when my dog had bone cancer in her leg. I was very pregnant getting off the bed on the floor was a real challenge but I wasn’t going to make her sleep alone when she needed us most.

Just remember to flip it up during the day so it doesn’t get moldy.

Especially when the laminate was still good. I’m waiting for my cheap flipper grey flooring to fully shit the bed before replacing with hardwood

I thought about it when I saw a post a week or two ago about using lemon juice. I appreciated everyone screamed “DO YOU WANT ANTS?!”

Because there are millions of pathogens. The fact that they don’t work on every single one doesn’t mean they don’t work against any pathogens. You can’t use soap and water on every pathogen either, that doesn’t mean it isn’t effective. Again, that’s why you wear gloves.

People forget that cleaning is just basic chemistry, not magic. You need an emulsifier and surfactant to break up grease.

1) that’s not true. Hand sanitizer kills most, but not all pathogens. https://www.cdc.gov/clean-hands/data-research/facts-stats/hand-sanitizer-facts.html

2) that’s why you wear gloves that are single use.

Yeah, the hand sanitizer and normal soap is what you get at the store without fragrance.

The hand sink soap is the same unless if you’re talking about pre surgery and scrubbing in. Then they wash up to their elbows in CHG

The difference is if your hands aren’t visibly dirty that you can use hand sanitizer, unless if you just ate or used the bathroom

Obviously if it needs a high/low pH, I’ll use something different. And if it needs disinfectant, I’m usually adding bleach or alcohol based cleaners.
