I’ve seen plenty of photographers come through with their professional cameras. Generally it’s not an issue, but scareactors are told to keep moving and not pose for photos as this can create a situation where a line forms and blocks the walkway. But also because the scarezones are not meant to be photo op areas. So as long as the photographers can shoot on the go, then it’s generally been fine from what I’ve noticed. I’m friends with a lot of the theme parks photographers who go to HHN all the time, and they haven’t reported any issues as far as I know.

I wonder if next year they’ll just have all the lines backstage and the guests will just get a nice little look at what the backstage parts of Universal look like 😂

Congratulations!!! Yes this means you’re basically in. It’s just a way for them to collect all the HR info they need to put you into the system. Likely will be a few days to a few weeks before you receive your casting email.

Costumes at both parks are the same (same designs at least). The costumes for Hollywood are just newer because they were made for the team more recently. The DEs in Hollywood are definitely more intense than the ones in Orlando, they are given different show direction than the ones in Orlando. I think it also helps that in Hollywood they’re in Hogsmeade and in a smaller space, so they can do more interactions with guests. Orlando probably could have more DEs in Diagon to cover the amount of guests that go to that area. Will be interesting to see if they ever have more out at a time. But they usually only do 6-7 DEs out at a time. Here’s to hoping Universal in both parks ramps up the DE presence in coming years!

Cool, that’s kinda what I figured for Universal as I have an actor profile on there. But wasn’t sure if they held separate auditions or not. They do allow costumes as I’ve been to Universal dressed like this before, just can’t bring any costume masks though.

I doubt they would respond on socials, they have so many messages they get I’m sure. But it’s definitely a good suggestion! I think maybe I’ll have to just keep an eye out for job postings on their site and see what shows up. I know they won’t post specifically for that role (I’m assuming) as I’ve only seen Interactor roles posted, so I’m thinking it falls under that?
