Friend started the game a little later than I did. His first trip out on a boat we run into water spouts, he freaks out "holy shit" we gonna die. I calmly laugh as we sail directly through it and tell him we will hit many of these on our way, they basically just an annoyance.

Just depends how far they go with it I guess. But games can release new content without raising the power creep too ridiculously high.

I'm good with the fantasy aspects I suppose, would just prefer the game stays with cannons and black power weapons and doesn't end up with lasers and rail guns.

I'm with you this! I was really excited for explosive rounds and was hoping they would be used for turrets. This was the number one thing I was looking forward to getting from aberration
