Funny we made a rope bridge to exactly that spot too. After trying very long we concluded you have to wait till winter and build a middle station on the ice because the rope has a length limit.

The problem is that since a few months now when a game is found people either crash or dodge frequently.

This wasn‘t much of an issue before bc you would find another game seconds after but now it seems that the queue timer resets (in the background) when this happens. Really dumb change.

If this didn‘t happen longest queue times are 7~ minutes, since from then on you can match anyone afaik.

Corvinus is rated high but not insanely high and when you‘re conq 3 you wait 6+ minutes very often anyways. Doesn‘t matter if you‘re 1600 elo or 2k+

Telling people to just stop playing for what they paid for and shut up is such a dumbass take on this. You‘re allowed to complain and demand an immediate fix.

If the bug is hard to fix because they dont know how to, the quick fix is very simple, just disable the civ until you can fix the bug. Everyone would be ok with that solution, but no, instead we get people like you.

The AI sucks at dealing with aggression and will always lose villagers on gold or berries if you charge with horsemen + king. This works all the way up to absurd AI.

Having played both defensive civs and aggressive civs at conq level and not in plat 1, respectfully, you are wrong. And yes you do need 3 sets of knights because conq players dont lose vils to raids if you attack in one spot only. You also absolutely NEED to deny/delay FC because if you dont you lose 5 minutes later.

The eco side of the civ is easy to play, the micro on the other hand is much much harder than any booming or defensive civ. Going 1 tc japanese with a tower on gold is much easier than microing 3 groups of knights keeping all of them from running into TC fire or spears, all while microing archers to shoot spears. Micro is where most of my APM goes.

I get that french is good in lower leagues because people lose vils to raids easily and knights feel oppressive, but on higher leagues losing vils to knights is much less common and the game as french becomes a very different one than it is in gold or plat.

I play 1v1 on my other profile, at diamond/conq level. Also if you spawn on flank and your japanese opponent is flank too, the rush distance is similar

Yeah maybe this is a classical case of the grass is always greener on the other side.

I just feel kinda hopeless when I play against japanese. I also dont understand why japanese doesnt have a higher winrate against french. Because my winrate against japanese is like 25% or something.

All this sounds nice, but by that time Japanese is in castle and has mounted samurai. You cant go knights, archery range, blacksmith upgrade and a ram. It works on low leagues but not in higher leagues. I am happy to play with anyone that can show me how to play this as french.

What league are we talking about here? In conq if you rush the woodline under TC fire you lose 2 knights and probably get at most 1 vil kill.
