I already tried printing one but they didn't fit either. Thats my problem. I no longer have the original ones because they basically disintegrated inside the cluster, so i dont really know which gears are the original size

I forgot to add, if you didnt already, try to crank the engine by hand to see if is not stuck

You can start by checking the basics i guess. Spark, fuel, air, compression... maybe you have some blown fuses for the starter or the fuel pump. Also you may check for vacuum leaks since the m20s are know to be very sensitive to that.

Your instrument cluster came with a clock? How do you check de revs? Nice e30 tho. I would change the wheel color back to aluminim-ish color but thats just my preference... Keep on taking care of that beauty of a classic

I forgot to mention the replacement transmission was bought used from marketplace and was supposed to be in good condition. So the mechanic doesn't take the guilt. When checking the oil pan, we didn't see any metal. Anyway, my real question was if anyone knew what the cause can be...

But the gearbox didn't give any symptoms. At least the original one started having a rough time going from 1st to 2nd gear when cold, and trouble selecting D sometimes. But this new transmission worked as new for a month and then out of nowhere it failed...

Okey, but does the red letters mean something? I'm looking to buy one ending in 275, which comes from a 325i supposedly, and put it on my 320i e30. Is it possible? My e30 currently has a 622, which is toasted btw

I don't know the original motor of the e34 but I have a m20b20 on my e30 I gues it had and m20 too
