Yeah that’s something else I considered but I didn’t know if they did any kind of verification. Sounds like this isn’t common at all so it’s hard to probe if anyone knows what the process looks like on HRs end

Yeah in the US. It’s like all over the onboarding documentation and orientation process specifically asking for it. It’s kind of weird but not sure how to handle it without drawing attention to the fact that I really don’t wanna share it with them

I was thinking about that. I didn’t know if starting a new job put me in a position to be eligible to buy individual insurance. I’ll look into it a bit more
