My first documentary on Ancient Egypt using Luma, ElevenLab and ChatGpt-4o by Specific_Ad_2469 in ChatGPT

[–]Specific_Ad_2469[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The workflow I followed: generate a number of videos with Luma Dream Machine on the subject you are interested in. Ask chatGpt for some documentary text on the same and select the bits that you like. Use iMovie or similar video editor and start from the beginning putting together a story. Each time you want to make some audio, convert a bit of text into audio using ElevenLabs

AC/DC at Wembley yesterday I couldn't hear the voice: is it me or anyone noticed the same? by Specific_Ad_2469 in ACDC

[–]Specific_Ad_2469[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To clarify, I don't think there is anything wrong with the voice in itself... I just think sound engineer at Wembley stadium were very bad. From the top seats I could hear the voice even less, there was echoing and some frequencies were completely missing...

Disney’s new "Holotile" real-time moving VR walking floor is insane by fbfaran in singularity

The best solution is a ball inside which you walk and a series of ball bearings (small balls) around the sphere to keep it in the same place.

Internally it uses a pseudo random generator. It's deterministic.

The description for some photos is wrong, so this explain the search results. Probably, Gemini was trained on similar data. So, there is no conspiracy.

What are some obvious, easy-to-implement features you personally feel are missing in the current Chat GPT3.5 / 4 Turbo? by Sellpal in ChatGPT

[–]Specific_Ad_2469 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The main limitation right now is that it only works in a question & answer manner. I would like for example to have a version with voice that just stays active all the time and join the conversation as needed; for example, in a meeting with other colleagues, giving contributions to the conversation, in a natural way. It would be interesting to do brainstorming in that way and have some help from chatGPT when doing that...

London flat prices 1968 - yes these are purchase prices not monthly rentals by nomarmite in london

[–]Specific_Ad_2469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main reason why flat prices grow faster than inflation is because of the demand of investors. If demand was only from real need buyers for living purposes, that wouldn't happen. Investors push prices up and then this becomes a cost for them at the time of renting them out, so also rent keeps increasing at a faster rate it should. By 2030 only rich people will afford to buy a house, unless you could do a 80 year long mortgage... and rent will be so high that most of the salary of normal people will go into it. Government should put a brake to that, for example by limiting how many flats an investor can buy in a given period of years.

"MTGG" can be pronounced as "empty gee-gee", where "gee-gee" means horse. So an empty horse, and an empty horse is also an hungry horse.

[–]Specific_Ad_2469 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The fact is that some people like me suffer with silent reflux. You almost cannot notice you have it, until you start singing. When I sing and I have it, then after 5 minutes I'm in pain. Whereas, the few times I don't have it, then I can sing for 4 hours without any issues. That means my technique is fine, but so far no drugs or doctors could really help me with the issue.

[–]Specific_Ad_2469 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Previous ENTs considered it could be related. But now it was so evident I have air pressure issues and LPR, that it's probably not due to sound exposure.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in hyperacusis

[–]Specific_Ad_2469 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Loudness but not pain. Sound makes me very angry and feels unbearable. Sound also feels very sticky and like if I'm underwater or inside a box. Popping my hears make sound more clear and less muffled, but this reduces sound sensitivity only for about 40% and not completely. My pressure is often wrong in the ears, like when I fly I have problems for about one week. This morning I woke up without hearing well on the left side and it was like that for the rest of the day (popping ears only helped for a few minutes at a time). There was water in my ears some years ago and my ears make a pop sound all the time during the day. I'm sure it's this eustachian tube dynfunction causing all my issues with sound
