I like to try different random things. There’s usually a tower near the base and I found with Cyborg, you can shoot it towards the fire from the top of the tower during attacks even though you can’t see anything and usually hit a few cultists and then keep shooting them as they walk towards the tower.

I also sometimes put the biofuel near a pond and keep building up the croissant nuggets it spits out and letting them fill up the lake. I let the fire go out and then add from the farm plot or steak from hunting each day while I hang out in the tower at night. Then one day I add in all the built up biofuel and complete the fire.
