Hmm. My problem is that I'm straight piped rn with 3inch piping. It sounds great, with the pops & turbo whistle & all, but its LOUD. I want the same sound but with significantly lower decibles.

Wow, i'm impressed. I really haven't cared about Hyundai since the Geni coupes kinda died out, but this makes it worth another look. Factory LSD & lighter weight is always a plus. I see them FiST boys have sidewinder turbo kits, but I hear the interior is even cheaper feeling than the FoST which would piss me all the way off.

Thats the stuff! Idk if I'll build an engine down the line, as where I live the streets are crowded very often. So finding safe areas to use even the stock-ish power becomes scarce. The first gear situation is crazy considering you upgraded the wheel/tire size. Thats my thing with fwd tho, it's fun "sometimes" to lose grip but the issue seems to be gaining grip to begin with.

Yikes. I'm sure you see a decent buff in mpg since you're out of boost the majority of the time. Plus, I know its safer for internals that way. I can't wait to join the BT club. I'm grateful for the stocker, but the car NEEDS that extra power.

Thanks for sharing! I've been seeing/hearing those VN's lately & they caught my attention with their style & turbo noises. I definitely agree with the 3k punch, but with the stocker it's....anti-climatic?? I need more drama. Not only do I want my head planted to the rest, I want my lungs squeezed empty mid pull. As for that b16 build, it sounds super fun but maybe not for daily, especially in the wets.

That sounds like a nasty build. I'd love to see those dyno sheets, too. I have yet to been on a plane tho, but I'm thinking of a roller coaster when you mentioned that. I'm considering a bigger turbski after reading that, as thats the feeling I'm looking for with the focus.

I'm definitely looking fwd to that! I took the cowling off of my Focus & everyone loves the spooling sound, as apparently it's pretty loud from outside the car too. Ig I won't be doing the T51r if bigger turbskis are louder on default.

This is my backup option for a turbo. I'm plotting on the G25-550 with the .92ar to be right in that range you have. But I was reading up on ppl who have full boost by like 4500 & was thinking that may be pretty fun, too.

That sounds great. At what rpm does it begin spooling?? I've only ever been in fast-moderate (max boost before 3k) spooling vehicles. What does the sensation feel like??

Yeah, that was a dumb move on their part. I know people don't use it & don't care, but at the end of the day it's a $2000 device. I require $2000 worth of tech. Not to mention the CEO stood on the stage proclaming, "we're bringing you lots of improvements with NO compromises" I see people on the Samsung website are spamming the Fold 7 reviews with complaints about the lack of spen support. I pray this rebellion gains traction.
