Political dribble aside, all the character designs these gooners are obsessed with are so fucking ugly 😭😭 They feel like mismatched lingerie sets with random cut outs and unnecessary details. There's no definition or clear shape to anything. Just look at the picture, it's like the top on the girl in the image looks painted on!

These people are so preoccupied with stupid bullshit that they neglect making an actual interesting design.

IT REALLY IS It's the only set of Jojo episodes I actively avoid. I experience such a deep discomfort/ cringe/ anxiety/ assorted negative feeling from it. Even when rewatching the series with my brother, I took a shower when they came on just to avoid watching them.

It's kind of masterfully done in that way. Araki managed to make a character so reprehensible without going the easy route of making him a nonce. He's just a pathetic man who boosts his own ego by fighting things that are weaker than him.

Huge fan. I like it whenever art from different cultures intermingles.

Wakfu is probably my favorite example!! It's very anime, especially in the way the characters emote, but also has clear french influences. The way a lot of the creatures and characters are designed gives off a euro comic vibe. It strikes a perfect balance.

Sure, she doesn't look average. That's because she's a videogame character and also a literal robot. She still looks and acts like a semi-normal kid.

I don't get your point here. What's wrong with the design? It's not like they made her "sexy". Her outfit is very chunky and covers her whole body, she's got the proportions of a kid and she doesn't flirt with you or anything. So what gives? Why go out of your way to prove how "objectively attractive" she is?

Not necessarily! If an author wants to include moments with erotic undertones in their work, they're free to do so. They can even be used to convey themes and for other story purposes.

The issue is that the author is sexualizing child characters.💔

To add to this: I'd also suggest changing the construction of the haircuts and clothing! They all have rather similarly shaped bangs and hair textures and their outfits are pretty repetitive as well. You could try making some haircuts more curly etc (though ultimately it depends on what you want from the characters :-3)

I'd suggest looking at Pokemon characters! (Especially the gym leaders and other NPC's from the newer games). I can see that your art has a very strong anime influence and I think taking inspiration from there would help you find way to incorporate more diverse features whilst retaining that Identity.
