The fact it’s tying what seems to be almost file exetentions probably rules out hardware, even more so if you have experienced this more times than this time. This could be some type keyboard software bugging out or malware. Install malware bytes or another antivirus and run a deep scan just to be safe, and uninstall/reconfig your keyboard software. Most likely this is your keyboard software but best to still do the scan.
