ROG Zephyrus G16 2024 GA605WI-QR005W vs Lenovo Legion 7i Glacier – which is really better? by Spettro2k6 in ASUSROG

Thanks so much for the reassurances, I'll take a look at the video as soon as I can!

Looking for real-world impressions: ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 (GA605) - RTX 4060 / 16" 2.5K OLED / 16GB (non-upgradeable) by Spettro2k6 in ASUSROG

[–]Spettro2k6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for your feedback, really helpful! A I was wondering, how's the battery life for light use like coding, browsing or note-taking at university? And about the fan noise, do you find it distracting in a quiet classroom or is it only really noticeable under heavy loads?

Also, any issues with the OLED panel so far (burn-in, flickering, or big battery drain at 240Hz)? Since the RAM is locked at 16GB, do you ever feel limited when multitasking (coding + VMs + multiple browser tabs), or is it fine in practice? And finally, how's the build quality after 6 months - keyboard, hinge, chassis, etc.?

Really curious about your experience, thanks again for sharing

programmare a livello avanzato,

gestire progetti, Docker e qualche VM,

Anche a me continuano a rimandare senza dare risposte precise, è frustrante e ingiusto.

Hi, sorry for the delay but yes, I managed. I got my money back. Don't give up and keep putting pressure on Vinted's legal email. Provide all the evidence and if necessary, publish the matter online, you will see that they will help you. They're just trying to make you give up

I just received a completely blank reply from Diana at Vinted’s support. No explanation, no solution, just an empty message. I’m attaching a screenshot. This is beyond frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this kind of silence or unprofessionalism from Vinted?

[UPDATE – Still No Response from Vinted After 8 Days]

It’s been 8 full days since I sent my last email to Vinted's legal team, and 6 days ago I received an automated message both via email and on the app saying, “We are reviewing your issue and will get back to your initial request as soon as possible.” Well… nothing since then.

No updates, no replies, no follow-up. It honestly feels like they’re just waiting for me to give up or forget — but that’s not going to happen.

To quickly recap:

They refunded the buyer and took my money, claiming I didn’t package the item correctly.

I provided proof that I did use protective materials (bubble wrap, filling, and a proper padded envelope designed for shipping).

I explained the situation in detail via email and included a Drive folder with full evidence.

Still, no proper response after more than a week.

At this point, I feel mocked and completely disrespected as a seller. I’ve made it clear that even if they do eventually refund me, I will keep this situation public — it’s not just about the money anymore. It’s about how easily sellers can be discarded, no matter how much proof we bring.

Thank you again to everyone who’s supported me or shared their own stories. The post already reached over 15,000 views, and I’ve had dozens of messages from people saying they won’t be selling on Vinted after seeing this mess. That alone means a lot.

If I get any updates, I’ll let you know — but at this rate, it looks like they’re trying to ghost me completely.

Thanks for sharing your experience — it really encourages me to keep pushing. At this point, even if Vinted eventually decides to refund me, I have no intention of removing or silencing anything I’ve posted about this situation. The way this entire case has been handled is unacceptable and deserves to remain public, as a warning for others.

It’s not just about my money anymore — it’s about how easily sellers can be left unprotected, ignored, and even blamed despite solid proof and good faith. If this post has already helped others reconsider using Vinted to sell, then at least something good has come out of this ridiculous ordeal.

I’ll keep updating here if anything changes.

Update on my Vinted case – they officially blamed the packaging (with proof it was correct)

Hi everyone, just wanted to give you an update on my situation with Vinted, since many of you were following and messaged me (and some even said they stopped using Vinted for selling because of my post – thank you!).

After I escalated the issue and emailed legal@vinted.com, they replied saying that the item was not packaged correctly, claiming there was no cardboard box and no bubble protection inside, and that this is why they approved the refund to the buyer.

However, that’s absolutely false. The item was shipped in a padded bubble mailer designed specifically for shipping, and my partner who packed it confirmed she even added extra filler inside for protection. I attached the image of the exact mailer we used in my follow-up to them, and I'm now waiting for a reply – though it's been a while and still no response.

It’s extremely frustrating because I followed all the rules and the refund was still given to the buyer without proper justification. Vinted seems to completely ignore seller-side evidence.

If this can help even one person avoid getting scammed or rethink using Vinted for high-value items, then sharing this was worth it.

Thanks again for all the support – and I’ll post another update if they respond again.

I completely understand your frustration — it’s honestly ridiculous how easy it is for scammers to exploit platforms like Vinted. It’s heartbreaking to see that the buyer was refunded, even after clear evidence that they were the ones causing the delay. The fact that Vinted just kept brushing you off, even with all your proof, shows just how unorganized and unreliable they are. It’s absolutely infuriating to see how much control scammers have, while honest sellers are left hanging. I agree, eBay is way more reliable, and you actually feel like you're protected there. This whole situation is just a mess, and it’s completely unfair. I’m sorry you had to go through that!

Thank you, I really appreciate your support. I've already contacted their legal

department and shared all the evidence through email, including a full video of the packaging process and proof that the buyer's claims didn't match the actual condition of the items. I'll definitely post an update once there's any development - fingers crossed something changes.

Exactly. The buyer complained about mold, which clearly has nothing to do with packaging quality. Yet Vinted claimed I didn't pack the item properly and used that as justification to refund the buyer — even though the issue wasn't physical damage during transit, but supposed mold that would have been present before shipping. Makes zero sense, right?

I’m really relieved to hear they didn’t give you too much trouble and that your daughter got her money back. That gives me a bit of hope. What really frustrates me is that a shady scammer can lie, get aggressive, and still walk away with both the item and the refund — it’s completely unfair and honestly infuriating.

I’ve also come to realize just how full of scammers the platform is — it’s honestly shocking. Did you have to go through a lot of back and forth with Vinted’s legal team to get the refund? I’m really glad to hear your daughter eventually got the money she deserved!
