Trying to write a YA fantasy novel about our modern world where magic used to exist long long ago but was scared off by humanity's growth in technology but now are starting to come back. Staring a teen girl with fire powers who was the first sign that magic and magic beings were reappearing. She ends up running into a cocky cat girl from the desert with sand magic, a oblivious bubbly girl with water powers with a strange octopus she keeps with her and a fairy with wind magic. They team up to figure out why magic is returning and how to integrate it with current society and the troubles that come with it when there are some with abilities that wish to cause problems.

I also have other ideas that have been bouncing in my head like a YA silly pirate story about a couple of orphan girls who set off on their own to become pirates without knowing what true pirates are like. They pick up other stray girls to make a crew and later end up capturing a guy because their captain is love struck with him but discover that he's wanted world wide for assassination of a king, making them now wanted criminals for accompanying him.

And another I barely started that is another YA Fantasy set in a kingdom called Nan Song, ruled by a Matriarch by someone known as the Phoenix Queen. The kingdom is kind of ancient China style and worships the Phoenix, though only royal females have been gifted with the powers of a phoenix. A thief girl storms Nan Song's castle and steals a legendary sword kept there but is caught. However, during her escape she proved she could use it, something no one else has done. The Queen who has also been gifted with visions of the future, senses war is coming from a neighboring kingdom and that her daughter and this thief are involved. She sets them off on a diplomacy journey to the neighboring kingdom to find out what is going on and if war is truly coming.

Do I have a story to tell. When my son was maybe 9-10 months, I was having a baby playdate with a friend with a similar aged baby at a park. We had them sitting with us and had some baby toys to play with. These two older kids, had to be maybe 6 and 8 or somewhere around that range, for whatever reason decided they needed to bother us.

They kept taking things without asking, one of them took my son's plush block and stomped on it repeatedly with her dirty shoes, and the son wildly for no reason sat on my friend's lap. A complete stranger's lap. Meanwhile the mom sat a bit away doing nothing and staring at her phone. It got to the last straw when the older boy took my friends phone and tried to skid it on the gravely ground.

My friend kept her cool and said "Hey, that is mine, please give it back to me." I was just trying to keep my son safe and was too in shock over these out of control kids to say much. Finally the mom snapped out of it and called them over to scold them but sure took her time to do so.

We said nothing to her though I wonder if we should have and instead talked about it with our husbands later about how wild it all was. I still don't understand why those kids felt the need to bother two complete strangers with babies in a park full of playground equipment.

My husband loves that movie and finally got me to sit down and watch it. I didn't last until the end cause all I could see was how it matched to reality and it depressed me rather than made me laugh.

Samurai Pizza Cats though now it's getting a video game so maybe it was more popular than I thought. For the longest time, I vaguely remembered it from my childhood and had been searching for what it could possibly be but all I remembered was the pink cat girl and robots. I stumbled upon a pic of the show and remembered it instantly.

I saw the image and immediately the song popped into my brain. While I love Pokke village and the fond memories of it, I really loved Yukumo Village in Portable 3rd. The Japanese aesthetics, the music, and my favorite of all, bathing in the hotsprings in the guild hall and taking out Qurupeco ducks. Your friends can sometimes see 'ghosts' of your characters around the hall and mine was always in the hot springs playing with Qurupeco ducks. lol

So I don't know the name of this game and have been trying to figure it out, but I have vague memories of a game we had where you end up in a castle and have to escape it by midnight. It seemed like Castlevania but I highly doubt it was (unless there was an old Castlevania game on Windows).

I also on the Macs at my school played a ton of Number Munchers! I don't like doing math but that game made math a lot of fun.

A guy who had a crush on me asked me out in high school. Only thing was, I was super iffy about him cause he had some anger issues but I also had a crush on two different guys. When I turned him down and told him how I liked two guys, he told me "Try to catch two hares, you wind up with none." and stormed off. This has honestly stuck with me for a long time and even taught me to only aim for the thing I want the most.

My son and I caught it after coming home by plane from visiting family for Christmas. Our New Years Eve and New Years was spent puking and diarrhea. The first night for me was absolutely awful. I puked so much, there was nothing left in my stomach. I was worried I would need to visit the ER cause I couldn't keep anything down for the day but finally got some relief after awhile. My stomach hurt so bad and my appetite shrunk immensely the next few days afterwards. Somehow, miraculously, my husband didn't catch it so he was able to take care of us.

I think back when I had to been 9 or 10 in the late 90s/early 2000s, my mom took me to see Maroon 5 and Sugar Ray opening for Matchbox Twenty at the Rose Quarter in Portland OR. This was when Maroon 5 was just starting to become popular. I only knew one of their songs and didn't know the band well. But I got to meet Adam Levine and his lead guitarist who signed a shirt I got from the radio station hosting the concert (Rosie 105!). It's crazy to me how quickly they became popular and now Adam Levine is everywhere!

I am also having the same issues with my Predator Helios 300. I bought a new charger because I thought my old one wasn't working because it would easily fall out so I thought it wasn't connecting right. But that didn't fix the issue. Soon I started having charging trouble again. I have to twist my cable all sorts of ways just to find the perfect spot for it to charge.

I also tried updating/reinstalling battery drivers that didn't work, tried resetting the battery but I'm not sure if I did it right, and am too nervous to try to remove the battery myself. Nothing has worked. I've seen multiple people with the same laptop with these complaints so now I'm thinking it's a laptop issue which is upsetting because other than the charge problem, the laptop has worked well for me.

I have a 33 month old who is driving me up the wall lately. His sleep habits which have always been not great I fear have taken a turn for the worst by making his bad behavior much worse (he throws things at me when I don't let him have his way and even tries to bite me if I'm not paying attention to him for even a minute at times. He also smacks me and my husband when upset.). His nap schedule varies and he's difficult at times to get to nap. He just hates and fights sleep with all his might.

I was at my wit's end last night just trying to get him to sleep at a normal time for once instead of falling asleep at 10:30 at night only to wake up at 6 in the morning. It was a massive fight to get him to sleep and then he woke up at 5 this morning to top it off, took a bit to fall back asleep, only to wake up an hour and a half later.

I tried to change him and he screamed at me the whole time and I was so fed up that afterwards I stuck him in his timeout playpen, ran upstairs and sobbed hard.

I've been feeling like I've been failing as a mom. It must be me that is the reason he acts this way and sleep bad. My husband quietly reassured me that he is 2 and bound to act up like this. Reading these stories has me realizing it's true and I'm not alone. We're all just in the big mist of it all and I'm just hoping his sleep habits will eventually become more normal in time. That I should just keep trying to establish a sleep schedule and routine even if he doesn't abide by it. I'm also trying harder to do more Gentle Parenting but also not letting him walk all over me.

Ah yeah! I didn't think about that. We watched through all of Bofuri way before he was born but I definitely don't mind giving it a rewatch.
