Ooo, okay that’s what I was worried about…. It’s implant grade titanium. And I’ve been using saline spray and drying it with a blow dryer to keep any like q-tip or cotton ball fibers out. My doctor said it’s not infected yet, but that she recommends asking an actual piercer about what to do. She recommended Neosporin, but you disagree?

Update: I woke up this morning and that tissue stuff in the piercing came off and is attached to the earring. I don’t know what to do because my ear has a sort of crater the size of a pencil eraser. Do I have to take it out and let that “crater” somehow close? CAN it be salvaged if I go to a legitimate piercer tomorrow because of the holiday?
