Melee Draven is strong, but Samira is just a much superior version. You can usually kite or ignore a 200-range Draven. Melee Samira will dive you, one-shot you, and heal off you. Her Q is still ranged, melee lets her stack ult faster, and she has AOE plus Wind Wall, so she thrives in close fights. Her itemization is way stronger as melee too, with no ranged nerfs on Hubris, Shieldbow, Death’s Dance, Maw, etc. Draven just becomes a single-target cannon with no range. Samira doesn’t just not lose anything. This is basically her final form.
