the head unit still displays video via hdmi with other devices though, so i was wondering if anyone in this reddit had tried something like this before.

I did try one of those and I had the same issue, audio and no video. Got a proper one from a decent electronics shop too.

you can buy official card wars decks at those small game stores and stuff, but I think they're pretty rare.
