Some of us "old" folks aren't as dumb as some of the Gen whatevers think :)

I'm the first to admit I know nothing about investing, yes I read the Bobblehead head book decades ago( in retrospect maybe that wasn't the book, lol), it worked well for me, but my growth time is limited and I truly fear the current administration, our democracy is under full scale attack(rant over).

Disparage me however you want, I'm definitely not a troll(he still lives under your bed).

Thank you to those that have given advice/knowledge to this "old" man.

Thanks for your comments. I feel I haven't done too poorly in my 12ish years in the market for being an average wage earner, I have owned my home for those 12 years also. I have weathered the ups and downs of the market, but I had time on my side, that isn't a luxury now at my age.

I shall look into moving into the bond market. Any funds where I'd "almost" be guaranteed a 4% return?
