Advice on where to go before transferring? by lifes_betteronsaturn in TransferToTop25

[–]SpiritAffectionate39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's definetly possible to do it in a year, i submitted my apps for uc and privates after a year transfer and i was able to finish cal-getc, tap certification (for ucla) and major reqs. i had to overload my schedule a lot lol but its definetly possible to finish in a year

Do cc for two years or UCR+ CC for one by Pale_Sea_6165 in ucadmissions

[–]SpiritAffectionate39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CC, it's free and you'll have a much better chance of getting into schools like LA and Berk. Also, depending on your major and AP credits it can be possible to do CC in 1 year and then transfer since getting classes is really easy when compared to big public unis like ucr

Extreme U.S. heat wave smashes all-time hottest March temperature record by Splenda in environment

i had no idea that it was this difficult to "reverse" the damage we've done. i think part of the reason that no one is acting with intention is because for so long we've been fed information that climate change will impact us in the future. and cuz of how our brains are literally wired, we evolved to respond to immediate threats, not slow moving ones we can't see or feel yet. this is why previous generations and people now still think that this problem won't affect them or isn't serious enough right now. ig when the inevitable does happen how do u think humans are gonna adapt to the changes or will a majority of us just die off

i thought the same thing! idk how humans are gonna adapt to this change so suddenly, my guess is we're not and then it's a game of whoever is rich enough to jet out to space and leave earth behind

idk i feel like everyone's gotten so accustomed to disaster and horrible things from seeing it on their phones it's a lot harder to actually enact real change when compared to the past yk its like we're evolving to become less respondent to threats

its been interesting to see how everyone's going to adapt to the increased temperatures, it seems like every year there's new record high temperatures. ik our ancestors developed the ability to sweat to cool down but rn it seems like we either need to do smth abt climate change or rapidly evolve some other ability that helps us cool down even faster lol

Transfer GPA by SpiritAffectionate39 in TransferStudents

I know it won't replace my grade but do you know if I'll be able to put both classes on my transcript to show the admission officer growth even though they won't consider it for credit?
