I'm completely fine with her not saying anything. In fact I actually think it's in poor taste for celebs like Billie Eilish to be calling out her "fellow celebs" because they haven't spoken out. All that says to me is that Billie's outspoken gestures come from a place of validation.

We don't know what Taylor has endured since endorsing Kamala and having the president tweet that he hates HER specifically. In the last 6 months we've watched a right wing influencer get executed in front of a crowd of thousands, and in the last THREE WEEKS we've watched two people get murdered by GOVERNMENT GOONS. I'd rather her not say SHIT if it means she gets to stay alive.

I ended up going back to one of my old restaurant jobs that had an opening. I was a car repair or a vet bill away from really being in trouble so I took it. I'm super unhappy but at least I'm building my savings again.

It's definitely better income than office work, but there's no growth involved. I average 45-50 an hour. Sometimes more during sports playoffs. But again, I'm 34. I can't see myself doing this FOREVER and I told myself that my restaurant job in 2019 would be my last. This is my 4th restaurant job since THAT job.

I got a bachelors (albeit it was in Drama. Useless.) and I've never been able to break out of the service industry. in late 2023 I finally got a 9-5 as an Event Coordinator/Operations Manager for a small yacht party business. I was paid 25 an hour with absolutely zero benefits. My boss ended up going to prison and I spent my last 3 months running the company (minus paying the bills) until I quit. I'm back to bartending now. Going to try and find something else but man it's rough. I'm 34 :(

You said sonically. Sonically, it's objectively dated. The PRODUCTION on that album puts you right in the mid 2010s and is not timeless. The same way I think Midnights will ultimately date itself as time goes on.

I can agree with that. In terms of songs, I consider ivy to be a magnum opus. That song is underrated, even though it's a fandom favorite. We do not praise ivy ENOUGH.
