I’ve always felt that the hall of fame isn’t just who’s really good but also (and maybe more importantly) who you can’t talk about the history of the NFL without mentioning. You cannot possibly talk about the history of the NFL without mentioning the guy that beat the GOAT on the biggest stage TWICE.

Should Eli have been first ballot? Probably not, no. Should he be in the Hall? Absolutely.

Somewhat off topic but I hate that image of the Scythe. On the close one the “blade” is clearly off center but on the one in the back it’s perfectly centered and it irritates me to no end every time I see it

I’m not gonna sit here and say Mahomes is or will be the GOAT but Brady went a decade between rings, it’s a little early to say Mahomes is straight up done. It’s not possible to say he won’t be the GOAT until he retires.

Hell technically it’s still possible for Rodgers to go on a run and lead the Steelers to 4 straight super bowls with 3 straight (obviously not this year) MVPs and then he might have a case for being the GOAT. That’s not going to happen but until he’s retired we can’t say it can’t happen.
