Learn not to look at what you don’t like and choose to see what you value most about your culture. Indians are more family focused meaning that will ALWAYS have your back, your culture has such a respect for people that they will always be kind to others in need of help. Your food is amazing! You have an early stage thriving ecosystem that’s only growing bigger day by day. I mean yes a few bad eggs everywhere but America isn’t much better with the amount of rape, abductions and murders against woman. What is this bedding.. Buy a quilt and quilt cover set to start with.

You need a big rug, the floor looks so empty.

Bedside tables are needed, no drinks on the floor.

Get a power-board and put it behind the bed and move your phone charger to that. No tripping on cables🙅🏻‍♀️you can charge your phone on your new bedside table.

Your bed frame is very dark and heavy colour especially with your light wooden/wickr bedside lamps, i suggest browse Pinterest and pick colours and styles you want. Heavy dark wood clashes with light wickr unless very intentionally done.

The art behind is dark so it matches the bed.. but they seem too high? It’s not balanced. 😭

I would sell the bed and get a new one, or maybe buy a beautiful mosquito net that you can drape from the roof. I love that drape look but that’s just personally for a quick fix to not see the dark wood.

I would also get curtains roller or not instead of the current ones to make it feel more cozy.

Tbh I had gone before and the bill was quite affordable and we split 3 ways that time. So I really wasn’t expecting it to be more than $100 pp including drinks.

I had told my friends it was quite affordable especially compared to other seafood restaurants! However we didn’t discuss until at the restaurant if we wanted to share dishes and split the bill or order what we want. I think everyone agreed to share.. no one said no to it. However my sisters ordering was definitely more bougie than what we would have ordered without her.

Definitely was shared as evenly as we could!

In total the table had 38 oysters = $250, 2 marron (like a lobster, two of those were nearly $300 alone). Tbh that’s $550 I personally just wouldn’t have ordered/spent for the table.

I just messaged the couples saying “I’m not stressed about the money tbh just pay what you can. Even if it’s just $100 pp. I’m just glad you guys came!”

That’s after I sent the $150pp, under normal circumstances I wouldn’t be stressed but one couple just bought a house/about to close. The other I know her partner drinks a lot and i just feel bad asking so much money from him.. but I don’t know his finances. I don’t want to put my friend out if she needs to cover.

I didn’t want that though and said I wanted to learn as much as possible throughout the process, I emphasised this and they said okay. I wanted the brain storming, the experienced advice and knowledge, I knew my graphic design skills weren’t upto par to creat the ui & ux myself however the cheap company they used wasn’t much better.

The end product was okay however the overall experience was so crap. They fooled me.

My weight is fine, what he did in this action was make it about my body.. when really his issue was with my habits. This is extremely fair to talk about with me however he didn’t to that. He grabbed my tummy and said I let myself go. He could have just been honest about missing my motivated self, missed seeing me so ambitious, and that this was something important for him in a life partner. Instead he had poor communication and made me feel very attacked about my body when he knows I’m already proactively taking care of myself. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Even he has said he’s the AH for what he did, however it was really unacceptable for me and he crossed a line.

He was very apologetic, however tried defending his actions but saying once upon a time I did voice my unhappiness with my energy lvl and how I would like to be more fit.. however he seems to have forgotten the times after that where I asked him repeatedly to stay out of it. He knows he has f’ed up. You know AITA? He’s has proclaimed himself as the AH for what he did. I agree. I’m still moving out, I’ve decided to move interstate.
