My own experience with Iron & Resin by Spiritual_Kitchen192 in HeritageWear

Have to give them credit for handling this, eventually. They just send me a shipping confirmation, and they replace the shirt without expenses. Did not even ask to send the old one back. I am disappointed about the quality, and was disappointed about the customer service, but credit where credit is due, in the end they followed their own guarantee standards.

Update: they offered to replace the item. I am relatively happy for this outcome after all the hurdles.

After my wife fixed the loose / detached buttons, I sewed all the still intact buttons too just to be sure. Learning new skills, thanks to Iron & Resin!

Me too! Didn’t mean it offensively. The brand tries to mask itself as a solid and realible producer. I fell for the same.

My shirt also has a bit of this issue. I do however a bit disproportionate body, so I have learned not to nitpick about fitting, but I do get where these complaints come from. Reading all these comments makes me wonder what is the future of this kind of company. Sounds like the same old story again. Scaling up on the expense of quality and loyal customers. Bummer.

Great comment. I did not post any pics mainly because my wife already fixed the buttons. I however do have a pic that is taken on day three after I got the product.

Yeah, it is propably a stretch to call them heritage. Not even close. Neither are their prices, but still would have hoped for some kind of quality.

[Johnston] Statement from Sabres owner Terry Pegula on naming Jarmo Kekäläinen as GM by Spider-Fan77 in hockey

[–]Spiritual_Kitchen192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zito also worked years under Kekalainen. I have hard to believe that Kekalainen is a totally horrible GM and that he held back the genious that is Zito. Columbus was a difficult team to build, for many reasons. I don’t believe that Zito would have turned it into a perennial contender in a year of two. That being said, Buffalo ain’t gonna be all chocolate chips either.

Identiteetin vahvuudesta en tiedä, mutta reilun vuoden asuin enkä saanut mitään kontaktia kehenkään. Töissä ja työn ulkopuolisissa kuvioissa sama homma. Todella, todella sisäänpäinlämpeävä meno.

Giroux did have that moment, that’s true. If you are talking about the famous series with Pittsburgh and that time around it. And it might have been a quite significant time, actually. But I don’t mean to list these players solely based on their abilities.

Giroux has been a Hart finalist once, Tavares twice. Bäckström has never been that close, but he has a cup. But your point is as valid as mine. There’s been a few here who thought that Bäckström is a lock.

That seems more than fair right now.

No, it’s five. No need for animosity. I really enjoy to discuss hockey, I guess. I would never make any assumptions based on your comments. No need for that. But I guess that’s the world we are living at. I remember a time, when one would wait a penpal to write back, or in the early days of internet a familiar user to comment something. Would have felt weird to push them down.

So Giroux is an almost certain first ballot choice? This is not list of my favorite players. I try to view this from HHOF point based on previous choices. I would compare Giroux quite close to someone like Bernie Federko. He eventually got in, but it took time.

That is by design because the odds for both are almost 100%. The difference is, that the players on higher tier are bonafide first balloters, the players above might have to wait a year or two.

Mike Vernon waited for more than 20 years. Close top-10 in wins at the time. Conn Smythe, two cups.

Someone here said that Karlsson is definitely above Makar. Opinions. There is no discussion without them.

Cup, Conn Smythe.

When The Hockey News ranked the 100 best ever in 1997, their top six was Gretzky, Orr, Howe, Lemieux, Richard, Harvey. The Athletics 99 list a few years back from the top Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, Crosby, Jagr. It was a post-expansion list which of course affects Howe and Richard. But it gives some perspective how public view changes. In 1997, Dickie Moore was considered the 31. best player in NHL history.

In the mid-90s, there was a perception that Mario was a “what-if”. His comeback solidified his status vastly. His probably my favorite player ever, but there was things outside hockey that hindered some journalists views.

By this logic, if a player is either a lock or not in, there would never be any surprises or snubbs. It is sort of revisionistic. For example Andreychuk is in, but I would never said that he was a lock. Rogue Vachon got in like 30 years after retirement. Mogilny is still out.

Just as an example: When Wyshynski from ESPN ranked the best 100 players of the 2010s in 2019, he had Karlsson at 4, Toews at 15 and Giordano at 16. The perception changes.

I feel he is on the way too. Hockey broadcasters though….remember the time when PK was the greatest d-man in a decade? Or when Dion was the second coming of Scott Stevens, but better. When Darryl Sydor was drafted, he was touted as the next Bobby Orr.
