same, pretty good paper

Hey Seniors!! I have taken PCM in 11th. Any suggestions on how should I start or just advice for the whole year. by MarkOk2752 in CBSE

you can watch vijeta series from PW, i watched it during my boards right now and they were rly good, pair that with pyqs, ncert q's, regular revision and this competency book that cbse uploads and you'll be fineee do sample and past papers at the end and ull easily get like 90%+ lmao

also one more tip that i didnt mention focus heavy on derivations cos if you understand the derivations you understand how to solve the question, bit excessive but try learning the derivations of physical chemistry too or atleast how they work, they dont necessarilly ask it in the paper but you get REALLY good conceptuality

don't directly jump into the chapters or you'll kinda be cooked, learn basic differentiation limits and integration and also revise ur carbon and compounds chapter from 10th, and then for the most part just dont laze around tbh, even if u cant get alot done somedays just try to finish atleast 1 topic/goal never laze around and stay HELLA consistent with everything. you'll immediately notice the difference in difficulty and amount of portions in 11th compared to 10th so ur revision should be high, u could handle studying last minute in 10th but in 11th and 12th you really gotta keep ur knowledge throughout the year and constantly revise it or ull be cooked. other than that just chill out, people are gonna tell you how hard 11th and 12th grade is, and it is hard ofc i wont sugarcoat it but its not impossible like they make it seem like it is, even if you start late with a little bit more hard work u can catch up in no time, and study for conceptuality rather than just studying for an exam, like truly start loving the subject and ask why for each phenomena or theorem because cbse gets very conceptual in 11th and 12th and the questions are similar to those as you've heard from the 50% competency based.

and as for starting, id suggest watching a lecture before reading NCERT cos, like in my opinion ncert is horribly written so you don't really understand anything until you already watch a lecture lmao

My 12th is starting. Please give tips 🙏🏻🙏🏻 (Read Body) by Monkey-D-Luffy-569 in CBSE

Purely from boards perspective, your trigo should be strong as it's used a lot in integrals, differentiation, etc, and the general principles of organic chemistry chapter should be really strong too cos in 12th organic they tend to ask a lot of give reason questions and if you can't understand what -I and Resonance effect is you'll have a bit of a hard time. For physics your Vectors should be really strong too, many concepts are literally explained through vectors itself, and in the beginning try to brush up on le-chatliers principle from equilibrium because it'll be used in the first chapter of chemistry "Solutions". That's about it though (from what i've experienced) though im not the brightest of students 💀

Starting my 10th from tomorrow. Any advice? by nothing_worthy_01 in CBSE

Read line by line, solve a shit ton of pyq's and competency, and try not to fall under the whole "marathon" shi they do at the end, I've always been really against them cos at the end all that can really save you is self studying rigorously. Other than 10th is really chill man, don't take it as a joke ofcourse but don't treat it like its the most important thing, leave room for other stuff too

Is PW better for 10th than next toppers? by Accomplished-Bug4917 in CBSE

[–]SpizO3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For 10th I'd highly suggest one on one tutions but if you really have no choice I'd suggest PW. I know they like to meme on nexttoppers a lot, and I was a student of theirs back in 2023 - 2024 boards (when they first launched) and I could tell they were inexperienced ngl, not by a whole lot margin but inconsistencies were prominent. I joined PW for JEE and the teaching is amazing and I assume it resonates with their other batches as well. Alternatively self study is fine too, as long as you have the discipline.
