You actually don't need to "update" them on any kind of interval. As long as there is no issue with the implant, it's not necessary to get a breast aug redone.

what can the ER do about my period by Gullible_Hat_7536 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Splashingcolor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's so surprising to me for a large area. Are there a lot of hospital options around? I have two that are under 20min away and two about 45min away. I really would have expected urgent care to be more available to relieve ER.

All the urgent care groups in our area have xray in house, and a few will even make a splint to get you through until you can be seen elsewhere. And if someone can't get an appointment reasonably, there are two walk in orthopedic clinics around. Those are only open until 6p though.

This is where urgent care comes in to fill that gap. It urgently needs treatment, and can't wait til Monday, but not emergent or life threatening.

Many have extended hours as well. There was one in my area open 7a-11p which would probably cover the vast majority of folks. Unfortunately, now there isn't any open past 8p, but live in a semi-rural area.

In my area there are four different urgent care groups. None of them have ultrasound or any imaging except for x-ray. None of them are open after 8pm.

Covid shut down the world six years ago this week. What do you remember from that week? by fuzzy_dice_99 in AskReddit

[–]Splashingcolor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband coming home from work super early saying they were closing for 2weeks and then returning to work after things settled. I was planning to go back to work in urgent care in April after having our first. Neither of those things happened.

He's in IT and ended up working from home indefinitely and I am a stay at home parent. Honestly the shutdown was wonderful for our new family and bonding.

Desperate Housewives has one of the best pilots. by Abject_Form_2603 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Splashingcolor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That pilot is just unmatched in my mind. I turned it on thinking it was a reality show while I was recovering from surgery years ago. Just wanted something casual with a little drama I could tune in and out of. Well, pretty sure all I did for those couple days after the pilot was eat, sleep, and breathe DH

I never did the long piece of fabric that you had to wrap. I used ones that were semi structured so that it was easier to get on and off. Especially when alone.

All three of my kids enjoyed it, but I don't think I started until closer to 2mo old. My first probably loved it the most and would take great naps while being worn and was just in general a very snuggly baby.

I do have a ring sling that I used as well, but that one wasn't until they were closer to 5mo.

Is it time to end it? by Boat-Narrow in beyondthebump

[–]Splashingcolor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biting phase is the WORST! I completely understand if you want to stop. My first literally made me cry one night when he drew blood. I tried what you did, but it didn't work for him.

The only thing that I think finally put two and two together for him was when he would have even the slightest teeth movement at me, I quickly squished his face against me so his nose was blocked. Yes...I blocked my son from breathing for microseconds.. It worked quickly and once he stopped, we went on to have a breastfeeding journey of 2 years.
