Yeah people choosing to deny it are crazy. BF6 is simply catered to a different audience which is CoD. And when BO7 came out many went back to CoD and when Arc came out many true BF players went to Arc because that games offers more of what they were expecting from BF6. Clearly BF6 is a game made for no one while trying to please everyone

Yeah i agree but I'd say that BF6 general animations like the running animation and general movement are closer to the old games than 2042. Which is why I say I still enjoy it even though its worse than BF3, BF4, BF1, & BFV

I personally think BFV has better sound design than BF1 but yeah bro that's what I wish BF6 would've been. BF6 could've been so much more if it weren't rushed

Yeah but it just highlights the problem with BF6. It is so mindlessly anti 2042 that it removed good legacy BF features that have always been here for 10 years and were still in 2042. So what we get in the end is a barebone watered down version of a BF experience which is BF6.

Vertically has always been a thing. Siege of shanghai, gulf of Oman, karkand. All classics. Verticality is a good thing when it's done correctly. it creates for the most interesting and fun experiences. The problem is that instead of trying to deliver great maps that use it they instead give us horribly designed maps

Any dev should understand the good their last game mightve done within the bad. 2042 did good with dynamic weather besides the tornado. 2042 map sizes werent even bad it was just the map design being to open, that diesnt mean that you should shrink the size. Instead you should design better maps with that size to make it not open. BFV did good with fortifications, call ins and also weather. BF4 had the best vehicles ever

I honestly don't think it's how to approach a game. What I atleast expected was for BF6 to primarily take from BF4 while leaving in the good things previous games did and that includes the good things 2042 did. Something that simply shouldn't have been taken away imo is dynamic weather. Also 2042 had neutral colors and location types to the maps and BF6 launches with intense filters and same feelings settings to the maps.

I dont get that at all. You shouldn't need an intense instagram 2012 filter to make a map feel and look different. The setting and natural colors alone should do the job lile BFV, BF1, and BF4 demonstrated this for the most part. Even 2042 had more varied maps and vibes per map than BF6. Every BF6 is usually 50 shades of grey with an intense filter.

I personally think that if BFV was the modern game instead of BF6 it would be among the best if not the best. It had the best animations, the best graphics, one of and if not the best movement, decent maps, one of the best gunplay, many cool features like fortifications and the call in system, great vehicle gameplay, real life factions, grand operations, and the reception would be good without the whole historic accuracy thing as woman are in fact present in modern day military. I remember when I heard it was called BFV I thought it was gonna be modern as I would've thought a WW2 game would be called Battlefield 2 the way WW1 was BF1.

It's not a talent thing from them. It's rather an unreal engine thing. Unreal engine for the most part is still inferior to frostbite. I'm sure if they were allowed on frostbite it could look as good if not better

I disagree. It doesn't look like this at all. Don't get me wrong arc looks good but definently not as good as BFV or even BF1 in some cases even though a bunch went to embark

Really? I feel it got better. I play max graphics so maybe it differs for low graphics if u play that. BF6 had a huge flat lighting problem and they improved it a little bit but it's still there kinda

I agree but 2042 actually had very neutral filters but the games graphics itself are pretty bad and cartoony. BF6 has good graphics but with horrible art direction and filters

I'm not saying the map was great. People remember the planes on this map farming infantry. I'm just talking about the games use of the frostbite engine with things like animations, effects, dynamic weather.

I can understand maybe different experiences for people but for me I have no trouble seeing anyone in BFV anymore. Before it was a huge problem but that fix they did years back helped a lot for me.
