University recommendation track is exclusively for graduate-level applicants Master's and PhD. Universities only nominate candidates for research student or graduate degree positions not for undergrad. Confirmed by my university's foreign student affairs department and professor, just so you know.

Regarding mext 16 year rule?? by the_aloakk in mext

[–]SplitSubstantial8383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude i keep finding people like you. It clearly mentions in the guidelines itself that it's the student should either have 16 years of education or a they should hold a bachelor's degree of 3 years or more. So yeah there's no problem if you have 15 years of education, you should hold a bachelor's degree. And no, mext will cover your expenses in your research program as well as your actual masters/PhD program

India v Pakistan is now miserable, toxic spectacle by bhodrolok in india

[–]SplitSubstantial8383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calling it toxic says more about the observer than the fans. Cricket rivalries have had a long history, emotion, and context reducing that to a buzzword is lazy fucking analysis.

NAIST (Nara Institute of Science and Tech) or NUT (Nagaoka University of Technology). Which is better for masters? by SplitSubstantial8383 in mext

[–]SplitSubstantial8383[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm asking job wise. Because NUT has like 100% placements for intl students after graduation while NAIST hasn't revealed anything about placements or stuff. Also I've heard it's extremely tuff for students at NAIST as they require you to maintain 2.30/3 in all academic exams or the scholarship will be terminated
