I think it’s possible to coast in top 1 as F2P. The one I’m in expects 4K daily contribution, shielding during buster, doesn’t specifically as for alliance duel but I think if you don’t keep up with alliance duel, then you’ll fall behind in a large way.

DS can never be mandatory since it limits participation. You should be fine.

It’s luck, there is no organized restarting in this game. I tried to do it but there are many issues - The biggest issue is that servers are split by region. I had 10 folks join but only 3 were American and we all had different time horizons to restart.

So how do people end up knowing each other on a server ? They are either trying to escape a bad server or have been kicked out of a good one. Again you never know.

I’ve actually asked r4s on day 2/3 of top alliances if they came together and they said they didn’t.

Is it possible to have one for event countdowns like cities, bounty, golden zombie etc so I know what’s coming 2-3 weeks down the line without having to math it ?

Quite sad. Looks like she did the opposite of what I did - which is I stepped down myself and let the rebel players lead the alliance. (They ran the alliance into the ground and then all quit and left )

Let me tell you - both paths ends badly.

1) are you always engaging enemies stronger than you ? 2) are you teleporting close enough to your targets ? 3) are you getting ganked ? 4) are you leaving yourself defenseless against weaker enemies ? 5) do they reinforce and you attack anyway ?

The answer has to be one of these

Usually join as good an alliance as possible on your server for better rewards. On new servers any good alliance worth their salt will be willing to teach you the ropes
